Am having an odd day.

Took pip to the dr - an appointment - this morning and I feel that it went very well. He is so good with them. Then I dropped pip to school and went to liddle and the gym. Spent £50 on a shortish list. Gulp. Lunch was carrots and hummus with some other veggies - same again tomorrow then the hummus stash will be gone.

The 'oddness' is caused by some deaths. No one close to us, but we all knew and liked them. Need processing time.

Very sorry to hear that, apple, and when it gets to "some" deaths, even though they're not close, that makes you think.  Take care.

Even though it's only been a few days, the processing is happening. The half term is over and now for 10 days off.

That is good, after 5 deaths since November and another expected by the ens of summer, I have had to do some processing and it is not nice at all, you have my understanding and sympathy

Wotcha. Thanks for all your lovely messages and live and hugs. It was a situation that was on the news. Husband shot wife, then child, then himself. Wife was head at pip's school until last Sept. My current head's family were very close friends with them. So two-pronged 'involvement'. She was a lovely woman. Very warm and always made time for you. She remembered your name and had a smile and kind word for everyone as well as running a school successfully.

Other news? Signed contract for invigilating, finally! And did an online form for available dates. Also did online contract for exam marking.

Oh good heavens.  Poor Pip!  The darkest of human madness, and thankfully some great personal news for you.  Hope you're managing to keep things/ get things back onto an even keel.
