I have a friend who does it, she wants me to get ,my license,  but it would not fit in with my family commitments.  She has just finished the whole Panto season stuff, but when the shows go on tour, she goes  with the kids too and stays in some lovely hotels!!

Another day at work done and dusted. Big sis asked me if I was demob happy yet. I said no, but I am feeling very smug!😎

Too many! And they're going sooooo slowly! About 38. That includes extra days for conducting gcse orals twice and my trip day to France. I think my countdown will properly start after the Easter break.

At least you know from X month, you will be a free range Apple 🍎🍏 so another month drops off next week!! Exciting times 😁.

I tend not to count months, f0xh0les, as they are all different as regards how many days I'm working. At the end of March (ie this term) I have my 2 big events which I'm looking forward to immensely.

A few weeks after Easter, I'll have more 'free time' once y11 + 13 go away. I'll also have my marking stuff in the mix. Can't wait!!!

I nipped to the gym this morning as Pip was defo not going in for the start of the day. I'm really glad I did that, as they are now not going in at all. Poor mite.

Overheard a bloke at the gym say that apparently people who had the flu since Nov (like pip did in dec) probably had a new covid strain that the old tests don't pick up. Dunno if that's true, but it would mean that poor pip had 2 horrid bouts of covid!

I need to get more things done than I did yesterday. Maybe...

Well if it does turn out to be true it would explain why DH is still coughing since November and is an unholy mess. 
Glad the Pipster is having a quiet day, sometimes it is necessary.

Pip needed Friday off too. So dh was in charge! I had a lovely lesson with reception munchkins.

This morning, pip's woken with a super hurty throat. Think we'll head to the chemist and see what they suggest. Then if it's still bad on Mon, call for an on-the-day Dr appt. Our practice is very good at keeping appts free for emergencies. If that fails, I have a 9am appt myself so can sneak pip in with me!

I got to the gym as planned first thing today, via liddle. A handful of reduced items plus yet another f+v box! I've since made a yummy fruit salad, sausage stew, and steamed 2 old swedes + a pack of sprouts to make fritters later on.
