I had a lovely catch up with a friend in a coffee shop I wanted to try out. She gave me a few items of clothing for pip (or the ch shop if pip doesn't want them) and a beautiful big multicoloured fruit bowl and a wireless phone charger that doesn't work for any of their phones but does for ours. Result!
I also bought 3 small lovely tea cups for a needle felting experiment for £1.50 and a biiiig hoodie thingy for just £1!
Tomorrow, I will have a 15 year old. Wow! They've said that they'd like us to big up their birthday, so dh is currently blowing up some balloons, and I've put all their presents on the sofa. We found a local baker who does gf and df stuff, so dh will go and collect that once I'm back from work. Pip chose the cake, so I hope it's as delicious as it looks in the picture! I'll be eating sugar tomorrow 🤣.
    20 more weeks 😎.

Thank you everyone - from both me and pip! They enjoyed the day and the cake was fabulous. The maker even delivered it to us, which saved us some time. It is massive and will take some time to get through. (I've had a slice both yesterday and today, so oops! to the no sugar...). Pip had a friend round today - first time friend has been here - and they both enjoyed three hours of the other's company. Pip is now flopped and all worn out, but in a good way.
While pip danced, I went back to the ch shop where I got my biiig hoodie and bought the other one that was there - in a larger size, for bil's bday in sept. Planning ahead champion here B) I also got 4 ceramic things for my needlefelting plans, for just £1.20 :D
Tomorrow will be a recovering day. And hwk...

Took myself to the gym for 8am and enjoyed it.
Made oatcakes and followed an oats+water+butter+baking powder+apple+yogurt+eggs+blueberries cake. I swapped blueberries for frozen rasps. And completely omitted the stevia or equivalent. The oatcakes were successful, the cake less so. The rasps produced much more liquid that fresh bluebs, so it's ended up v soggy, despite an extra 10 mins. Anyhow, I'll still eat it as it tastes good. And is a good substitute for pip's b'day cake.
Hwk is being hard to get done. Sigh.

We did no hwk. Not worth the price pip would pay for doing it. But this morning, on the way to school, they told me that they were in a much better space than yesterday. Yay!
They saw both their senco and HOY who have both been excellent at setting up things for pip this week, to use freed time from comp sci to do/catch up on hwk.
I went to the gym and did a really tough couple of workouts. Ooph. But that's a good ooph. Once I'm through this series of 12 workouts, I'm going to do them again but for longer.
