Dc had a much better day than anticipated. Phew. That lesson was a cover, and the stuff I'd managed to do this morning meant that dc got it finished. Phew.

Often, when I'm expecting a rough day for dc, and am extremely anxious and not coping v well, it turns out ok. But not often enough for me to think, ' oh, it'll be fine...!' And, conversely, days that look like they should be okay can go belly up in the space of a breath...

I have made it to 10000 steps, but need to do something more, so I've a 12 min routine on the floor that I'll go and do. And no, it does not involve snoozing, napping or closing my eyes...!

There is a job going at a local fab school. Part time. Both my languages. In the TPS. Worth a shot.

My school came out of it on Dec 31st, but you can re-join within 5 years. It's the best pension a teacher can have. And especially being part time, a new pension will only end up with pennies in it for me by the time I leave the profession.

Ooph. Extra half+ day at work doing gcse orals. I'm so proud of the pupils ⭐. Now to try to figure out how to upload it all to the board...

Dc just about got through their day. And still wants to go out to youth tonight. Fortunately it's the one where I can go and wait inside. And there's wifi too. Need to watch the next set of 5 workouts and make notes...
