Portal access still denied. In fact examiner services also denied. Fortunately, the exams officer was not denied entry and the gcse orals have gone into the ether. Phew.

A level orals completed today and saved in the right format. Exams officer will send those on Weds when I'm back in.

Going in next week for the gcse listening. I'm not allowed to be in the rooms but exams officer wants me there as reassurance for setting up and for if summat goes squiffy.

It doesn't seem that long ago that we were recording orals on audio cassette and sending them through the post! I remember frequently getting broken cases as some twerps didn't bother wrapping them well, and expected RM or Parsselforce to treat them with due love and gentleness!

And the more recent online ones, supposed to be password protected... well, half were, half weren't, half had the school's own choice of password... And the ever elusive EOs not answering emails. Or the phone.

So, overall, I think the portal is the best yet 😂😂😂

Dc is at home this morning. Poor thing. Dh not impressed. Bah. Me? Caught in the middle, as usual.

But... I'm off to see my counsellor soon, then the gym. And the plan is for dc to do pm school. Dh is miffed we can't go out for my bday lunch again. I don't think he quite realizes how much this is normal for me and my plans...

Dc didn't make pm school either. But I did get to go and talk with the senco. V useful.

Got all the bumf for Friday  now, so lots of planning to get my head around.

Thanks f0xh0les! I'm not too bothered now it's over. It wasn't quite as in the job advert.... But the Head talked money - not in it for that, but it's good to deal with someone who is open and transparent about it and promises some pay progression (not had that for 20 years...). Overall, if they offer, I'll be accepting. If they don't offer, i still have a nice enough job .

Pip still at school. Auditions. Am loitering around at home expecting a call to go and collect any time now.
