Happy birthday @apple_muncher! Some people just don't deserve you..agree that visualisations can help. I find picturing a white light around me which nothing can break really useful at times like this. Keep going, you are fabulous. Love Humdinger xx4

Thank you everyone ❤️❤️❤️I'm not at work on Fridays, so it has been a substantially better day 🤣. It seems like quite a lot of things were kicking off, so I'm glad I wasn't there.Dc has also been home. It was needed. They have even asked for a bath and hairwash tonight, which is good.I did score a good f+v box from liddle which basically mirrored what I was buying anyway. But because they are beyond the tills, you can't really go and look at them until your stuff is on the belt and you are past the moveable barrier thingy. So short of dumping things on the side, I feel I have to keep my originals too...I'm also endeavouring to keep doing bits and bobs of crafting. Today was turning 2 elephants and 2 giraffes the right way round and then sewing over the ears. I was then able to swap the thread for reds and start on 2 more elephants.I've been watching some chiropractor things on utube, complete with all the cracking. Fascinating. And strangely addictive...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!2

Well, when it came to our agreed bath time, dc couldn't face it. Nor a hairwash. Which happened, in the end, 5 mins before they had to leave the house this morning! Bouldering happened. But not dance. The braces were tightened yesterday, which prob hasn't helped.I was informed yesterday that the SLT had had a chat with the supply teacher ( who I've been begging them to get on payroll for months, and have been fobbed off so much that I've given up asking...) They had a quiet word that if I get the job I've applied for, my post + the rest of the French teaching (therefore a full time post) would be hers. This is hilarious! We'd talked about the very same situation in the week, and supply teacher said that she wouldn't work in the school (even full time, which is what she wants) if I wasn't there. I don't even have an interview yet and I'm already replaced... 🤣So instead of dance-mom-ing, I read a bit outside, then dh started on trying to dig out the underneath of a rotted fence post. Neighbours are away until Monday, yay. We live in a very chalky/flinty area. But that wasn't the problem. He's been digging out (or rather, hitting a metal spike with a hammer to loosen material) concrete and wood. And found a concrete square. So our plan will prob be to replace the post (I've metal brushed the removed one for 20 mins and it's quite a bit shorter now!) And postcrete it in.While dh was doing that, I went into the garden on the other side (got permission- they rent but do not do anything with the garden) to saw away at the pesky sycamore that has chosen to regrow. I really should have done it last year. It was hard work and I'm sure my hands will let me know about it tomorrow...So,a big sycamore frog has been swallowed. But I've no idea how we're going to get rid of the cut down bits...they're pretty huge.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!7

Ooh, good idea greent. We do have a fire pit ourselves, I like it very much, although it is a shallow bowl on legs thing. I really have used up all my hand strength sawing the branches down, and have nothing left to cut them up for us to use. So someone else could help themself! It really has opened up that side of the garden 😎.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!4
