Just cross-posted with you. Sorry about SG but also glad she's out of it all now. Hope all the sorting out of stuff goes smoothly for you. Good news re paying off mortgage potential. What'll you save for after that's gone?

It has been a good day.

- I went to the gym

- I saw the milometer change up to 70000

- I opened a bag of prawn cracker crisps to discover more than double the weight of crisps in there

- dc spent time with a friend and was out in the fresh air and sunshine in the morning, and also went outside with a couple of local kiddies in the early evening

- I got to visit a good friend whilst dc was with their friend and got some thought provoking info on ADHD meds

- I had a small bonfire

- I popped to the c00p to use a £1 off 5 voucher and found a couple of gf bargains

- I got dc to do a little more revision for exams later this week, and we quit before it overwhelmed them

- the apple tree is blossoming nicely (cue wind and rain to prevent pollination...!)

- I still have 1 more day off work (they all go back tomorrow for for, but I don't work on a Tues, and would usually see my counsellor, so I ain't going in. Plus a colleague has offered to fill me in 🙂)

I have the official letter reducing my hours to two days, as I wanted. But a concerning phrase in it says that there is no guarantee that I'll have full days off. They'd better not give me 2 days of work spread over 4 or 5 days...

I'm feeling just so weary re the job at the mo. I fell like asking a gardening friend to take me on as an apprentice. Except that my hands would probably not be good enough...

There's a virtual academy wanting an mfl teacher (tee hee, that autocorrected to NFL!!) Tempted to apply. But need to apply by 24th if I'm going to do it. It only came out today. 'Immediate start'.  On top of 3 full days? Then the exam marking in June? (Though by then the y11+13 will have gone)... First step is to explore their website...

Dc coped so well with their first day of exams. Proud of them.
