Sounds great apple. I'm also on Easter break, but I've got loads of work to do. I'm going to try and finish it all asap, so I can really relax!

I'm back in to work today and tomorrow, offering revision sessions. Today also involves taking a colleague in ( must remember to turn off to collect her...!). And talking to two sets of parents after the session about their children, which I'm not looking forward to. In fact, I'm really nervous about it. And will be very glad when it's over.
Dc was just a feeble weeble yesterday. Quite understandably. And very disassociated from their body until about 7pm. But they did get up. And eat well.

The session went Well and the parents were very very supportive and appreciative. Phew. Once home, I lunched and then spent about 1 hour sending emails. Ooph. Not much else done.

That is a lot of commitment to school there, glad the parents appreciated you.

Thanks Alchemilla. I'm back in again this afternoon, but it should be more fun.
And dc has plans too, to meet a friend, so I'm the taxi service. It should all fit around the driving to and from work...
But first, coffee, a workout, and my counselling session.

Counselling got cancelled cos he's poorly. So I meandered up the road and had a good mooch in my fave ch shop. For £6, I got a woollen woolly jumper that looks like it got washed too hot and which I plan to use for making an elephant one day; a red cardi for me; a purpley work top for me; a beautiful small bowl; candles that spell dc's name out; 2 mini soft toys from Canada. A bargain!
The revision session was great! I enjoyed it and was able to give a colleague a lift home afterwards.
Dc met up with their friend and when I went to pick them up they asked if their friend could come for a sleepover. Well, dc so rarely wants this that of course I agreed to it! But they are also doing some revision as they have 'end of year' exams as soon as they return. Dc asked me to spell out the negatives of the sleepover (exhaustion on their part, no time alone, wrecked for tomorrow) and then I added the positives (a friend to stay over, revision together, fun!)
Friend will be collected tomorrow just before noon, unless dc collapses with it all and then I'll let the mum know and drop friend home earlier.
    Sorted.
And tomorrow, I aim to take myself up to the gym fairly early on, and possibly to liddle afterwards... Fun, fun, fun!!!

Sounds good about the sleepover hope it works well. Sometimes the sleepovers here aren't that late. DS1 aged 11 stays up till about midnight, sometimes 3 or 4 am. DS2 age 9, more sensible, about 11pm.

Glad work is ok- but still think you need a rest - will you get a rest next week?

The sleepover worked pretty well. Phew. Dc did get some sleep but I had a text message at 6.30am asking me not to go out today. So I did my workout at home instead, and didn't go food shopping. And The friend was picked up at 10, earlier than yesterday's planned 12, and much better all round. It meant that dc coped and was able to enjoy themself more.
And then they collapsed into a world of total weariness, aching and headache. And has a bit of a temp. Testing says c-negative. But dc is very off their food (a massive worry, ARFID and all that...)
Dh is out having fun with a friend, so it's dc up in bed and me with the sofa all to myself.
I've already told dc that I'll be going out early to the gym tomorrow, then to liddle for 8am when it opens, and then home to wake them up.
Dh has sent me our energy company log on details. So I can have a look at that tomorrow 😎.

That sounds like it worked pretty well - so good to keep it flexible, nice one.  And yes, I agree with earthie, you need rest!  I hope that's the last of the school work.  Enjoy the gym, yay!
