Ha! So much for that washing drying on the line!!! It was very definitely drizzly this morning. But at least I noticed in time and brought it in to dry inside.

I think dc had a good day. They woke around 10, new time, and pottered around. And this afternoon/evening, I took them for their first aikido class. It's only half a mile away, but up the hill,down the hill and up another hill. So we drove. And dc wanted me to be nearby, so I went for a bit of a walk and then read in the car. They've said that next week I can go home 😁. They loved it. Yay.

Tomorrow, for a change, I am getting the car. Dc isn't going to the evening youth group,so once I'm home from work, I won't have to go out again. I'm looking forward to it!

Today has been a spendy day. £50 in each of sainz + aldee. Just shy of £200 for my teeth. And I'll be filling the car up this evening. And dh mentioned his cc bill, where he has the 3 lots of airbnb all paid for in full (April; August; October). Gulp.

I made myself go to the gym too, as I do feel like I've not been able to go, being ill/busy recently. And I enjoyed myself.

Not having the tv on when dc is around it helping them. It's not necessarily obviously noticeable, but it is definitely one less load of sensory input. So it is a good thing. But it also means that I am hardly watching tv myself, so I'm trying to get a good dose of it today.

I'm due to be in a work meeting now. But no one has set up the Teams meeting. And the person who always does it is involved in delivering training for a new admin system. So maybe I'll just not be able to attend! It is my day off, after all...

But no one takes notes...

*whispers very quietly* I've just finished the meeting! I sent out a message on the staff WhatsApp and a colleague called me so I could hear it all. And I am very grateful they did so. But I will definitely be requesting that the day for this meeting shifts around as it is not right that some staff just skip it and some are expected to be there even when at home...

Whoop. I'm finished for the hols. Whoop.

Yes, I'm going in to offer two revision sessions next week, but they'll be quite fun!

I slept very soundly last night, so at least I'm not starting my break in an exhausted state. Tomorrow I plan to start prep for next term, to get some done. But, firstly, go to the gym. Rock n roll.

My 1st day of the hols. I celebrated by making two pots of coffee and getting myself up to the gym.

I have also done some school work - gasp! And it is so much easier to do it when I taught the classes very recently, rather than trying to rack my brain as to whether we actually did do x or y. Or neither. Or even both...

Busy day yesterday. Dc had to get up quite early and went to bouldering with dh then had 45 mins to eat lunch and get to the dance show with me. The show was just fab and thoroughly enjoyable.

Today, dc is recovering. I hope. They are awake now, but probably won't get up for a while!

Dh is out until lunchtime.

I've done a workout, the 2nd load is in the washing machine, and I have a book to read. And because no one else is 'up', the heating is turned down 😎. Shhh!
