Definitely complicated to not use the car, when you travel about locally as much as you do - but I'm so pleased for you for the sofa! Well spotted! And omg, a choice of gf food. I long for the day2023: the year I get to buy a car4

Dc is off school today. Not surprised. Pleased that this is more proactive, giving downtime, rather than reactive, after a melt/shutdown.Took dc to a careers thingy at school in the evening yesterday and it was fab, but finished at 9 (when dc is usually already in bed). Dc had said before it that they might need today off. And looking back over the last 4 or5 days, dc has had a lot to process and some challenging days. So they can recharge a bit today. And I woke up to a time beginning with a 6 for once 😊. Admittedly, it was 6.05, but that'll do me, as it's begun with a 5 for several days. I thought I'd overslept, as it is just so light outside.Last day of work for the week. Yesterday was tough (better not say what happened here...). Roll on the end of the day.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!3

Hope today was better?3

Much better, thanks! Almost spiffing, when I look back over it. I had a lot of contact with the pupils and minimal interaction with staff 😂😂😂.Dc had an ok day and is currently at dance. We'll see what is on tomorrows timetable before deciding about it...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!2

Dc went to school and had a pretty good day. Phew.I didn't go to school and had a lovely day! Dropped off dc, sainz, washing, gym (tough session), liddle (got me a f+v box), (gym +liddle done on bus) finished writing reports, met friend and had a fab natter and walk in the sunshine, dc made their own way home, dh has prepped tea so I just need to cook it (fish + chips + peas), dc not going to youth tonight, so car has done minimal milage today ⭐.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!2

Car has not done minimal mileage today! It ended up being about 30 miles, toing and froing with/ for dc. Ooph. I've felt really quite frustrated by it all, for some reason.Dc is at the dance show dress rehearsal tomorrow (except they can't access the changing rooms, so it's a dress rehearsal without the dressing changes). They'll be there 9.30-3.30 ish and I'll likely need to hang around nearby, to be available, as everyone will be in the hall where they're performing and some of the younger ones are just so loud and unruly. So dc may need to escape... And lunchtime will be awkward for them anyway...I'll not be good at loitering for 6 hours, so need to plan... Yes, I could come home, as it's only about 20 mins away, but then I'd be toing and froing again. I could go to the gym, which is about halfway between here and there. There is a c0sta in the town, a 17 min walk from the hall, according to gogglemaps, and I can take a book and some sewing. I think there is a charity shop that opens on a Sunday for a little mooch. Yep. I have the makings of a plan...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!3
