And another one from the bottom of the slopey ceiling above the lower stairs. If that makes sense!

Petrol here is up 10p per litre compared with a week ago when I got dh to top up the tank. Eek. Dc and dh have free travel so I'm glad I thought about reducing my car usage already. And I started today by walking/tram/bus to and from the gym with a trip in to liddle too. I forget who it is who is keeping tabs on their gym cost-per-visit each month. This month I'm at £ 12.17 per visit.

Do you need to factor in health and wellbeing savings to your gym cost per visit?3
-
Yeah, Alchemilla, I've never done the cost-per-visit before. It was just that I noticed some one else doing it and therefore thought about it! I just try to get there twice a week, which would make it about £4.50 a pop. But as dh often tells me, it's the having somewhere to go that is just for me, to do something which I really enjoy and which is beneficial to me - that is priceless.Today I found a leather (ish) jacket that meets dc's spec. In the Sally Army Ch shop. And I used credit from dropping off bags there. So it was free!!!!Today I also finally caught up with a mum from dance- we said about 4 weeks ago that we'd go for a coffee, but kept not seeing each other. So today we swapped numbers. Clever, eh?!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!4

Nice work with the leather jacket.
I picked up DD2's friend to drop them both to another friend and they were like
"We've both got leather jackets"
"We've both got big boots"
"We're a gang!"
They're 14 and 15, so sweet, and so refreshing that they don't have to wear Kappa or Superdry or whatever brand to fit in.3 -
dh is out working 8-4. (not working out!!!
)
dc had a bad night and is only just starting to be woken up.I have done my bodyrock bootcamp day #6 workout (20 mins); the 2nd load of laundry is in the machine; rogue fitness' Arnold strongman classic is casting from my tablet to the telly. Now to finally start some marking. Maybe.But first, another coffee! (and a nip upstairs to prod dc)NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!4 -
Not much more got done! Dc did get up but is wiped out from a very bad night's sleep and not interested in eating. Dh was home by 1 as all the work had been done by then.But I did get hours of strongman and it was on-the-edge-of-your-seat stuff. Awesome. And I did mark my 3 A level papers. I have more waiting for me tomorrow, but the exams were on Fri and I wasn't going to go in to work for 4pm just to pick them up. Dc is currently in the bath. Not something they particularly enjoy, but they know they do feel better after a good scrub and a hairwash. Don't we all?!Dc has a very full week ahead. I'm trying not to dread the fallout...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!2

5/13 GCSE speaking test mocks marked. Took an hour.0/3 A levels ones even sniffed at...When I'm paid, I crack on hard. I've had these for 2 weeks now and all I managed to do before today was copy them onto a cloud area so as not to lose them...Back on it in 8 mins...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!3

I wasn't looking forward to today as after we booked in the car for its MOT (urgent, needed doing today, oops), dc found another youth group to try. It's only about 6 miles, but an awkward journey on the buses. So I was anticipating meeting dc after a club at school, getting the bus home, quickly feeding them, rushing out for more buses, delivering dc to the youth group, hanging around the town (primarni, c0sta and sainz were all open ish) for 2 hours (ugh) and then getting the buses back with dc at 8. Ugh again.Then dh said why didn't I just come straight back and he'd go and meet dc at 8. With or without the car.Then he had the brainwave of taking the car for the MOT much earlier than our appointment.Then the mechanic did the car when dh arrived, so he was home in time for me to go and collect dc from school. And dc can eat without rushing. And we'll be warm in the car and I can come home and dh will still go back and collect dc.Yay.Btw, I marked the GCSE speakings - took me 3 hours. Really need to do the A level ones. But don't want to. But must. But really don't want to... Hmmm. Perhaps when dh goes to collect dc, as I'll have about an hour...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!5

Oof - DH knows he can contribute, I'm glad you let him! You really, really can't do it on your own, and you shouldn't have to! Sounds like it was much more pleasant this way.
And I'm very, very familiar with the " Really need to do the A level ones French accounts. But don't want to. But must. But really don't want to." Yep. Good luck!2023: the year I get to buy a car3
