Good luck, and you are right not to end up doing a full time job for a part time salary.2

It's not been helped this year by having semi-permanent supply for term 1 and another for term 2. And new management always means new ways of doing things. We're a very small school and there are other departments with just the 1 teacher. But they are all full time. And I know that when I worked 4 days (up from 2), I had spool much extra time to do things. Not more frees, but more time before and after school, more break times and lunch times. Whereas now, all my lunchtimes are for clubs/kids. And I have to rush home most evenings for dc.Anyhow.... Dc needs bloods taking, and one of them is fasted,so I made an appointment for them for 8.10 for tomorrow. And dh is taking. But they'll have to leave the house by 7.10, an early start! Doesn't seem quite so clever now 😂.It also means that they'll both be up and about during what I class as 'my' time in the morning, so I may just get up earlier myself and leave earlier too...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!4

Appointments are complicated for you! With regard to the work - everyone does the odd few minutes of unpaid overtime, of course, but the perils of fitting a full time job into a part time salary are well known. Don't do it to yourself!2023: the year I get to buy a car3

As I put dc to bed last night, they said that although it would be hard to get up so early, at least they would get more time with me. Aww. So now, we're all leaving the house at the same time 😁

Aww, thanks!Dc's blood test was super smooth and quick. Just as well as they were ravenous after, as one of them was a fasted one.Today I did a shed load of steps at work, just running around here and there and back and forth. Again and again and again.Got home and decided to do a workout. I used to do this years ago so, why not? I did bodyrock bootcamp day 2, having done day 1 yesterday. Yesterday's was about 28 mins. Today's was nearer 40. Eek. But I have the satisfaction of being physically wiped out in a good way.Sdd1 and family are coming to the UK next month, in about 5 weeks, so I hope that will motivate me to lose some blubber...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!5

Oh yeah, I'm familiar with the way that works - lose weight for a big family occasion. And on the morning of said family do, take your socks off really early, even if your feet are then cold, so that you don't have the marks of the elastic around your ankles2023: the year I get to buy a car5

So dc went to school again today, despite them still striking. I'm impressed. And the physics lesson was particularly useful. So it was worth it. Phew.I stuffed my face with sweets at work. Sigh. Why do I do that???NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!5
