Dh usually makes really good choices, so this is surprising.
A 58 min wash at 30°, spin 1200 rpm is my future!!!

Can you do an extra spin after the 58 mins? I do this on virtually all my loads and the difference it makes is amazing - especially for things like towels, jeans and bedding. My 'spin only' is 16 mins but I do stop it early sometimes if it's a light/ small load

I'll have a look at that, greent. Think I'll have to sit with a timer though, as it's not listed on the timings page. Turns out I'm not preferring the 58 min cycle. It's only 28!!!

I can now say that the spin takes 14 mins. Gonna be using that a lot! B)
Wash #3 is already on, as the weather looks better than of late, and it may mostly dry outside. Not full loads, mind, but all the colours nicely separated!

Is it wi-fi enabled?  The manual for ours said there were extra 'bonus'  programmes only available through the phone app, but as it is a ridiculous idea to control a washing machine by mobile phone, instead of ..I dunno, say, a FINGER!!.... I have never bothered to look.

Then I think I might just 'discover' a worrying intermittent electrical fault.... said she with a doll's house sized-fridge due to DH choosing it. :D

We're off on holiday tomorrow. Sort of. Dc is going on a week away with the youth group. But not sleeping there. We've taken a cottage 30 mins away ( cos that's all that was left by the time they decided to definitely go!!!) And will be chauffeuring back and forth each day. Subject to whims and foibles - genuine ones, anxiety-provoked ones. But we're getting away!!! Dh has been mad busy for months and doesn't take time off. I know he's bringing some stuff with him, but he should, hopefully, be more relaxed... The plan is that some days, after drop off, we'll go and do something. Other days, we'll divvy up the ferrying and just chill out. Or, more likely, be online doing work stuff!!
So, are we packed? Nope. Dc is the furthest on. I get distracted by prepping kitchen stuff! Just reminded myself that I've all my clothes out on our bed. Best go shift them or pack them...

Have a fabulous time.  If nothing else, it is not the same 4 walls we have been staring at for the last 18 months!

Enjoy your break and the time away.

I have a JL WM and though I like it and it has a 20 min 30 degree cycle and a 48min 40 degree cycle [the latter courtesy of a button marked 'quick' reducing the time from 1 hours and 40 mins] which I mainly use, I always put it on the 15 min spin after the cycle finishes or everything is still a bit toooo wet for my liking.
