Oh my goodness the drama in the Leeds Tri! you will enjoy that greatly.I scored a great Leedl box this morning too, 6 apricots, an A4 punnet of straws, 2 trays of bluebs, 2 massive oranges, 3 apples, an aubergine, 6 peppers, 6 potatoes, 3 bananas (unripe), 2 small lettuce and 3 tomatoes. £1.50? Well it would be rude not to....4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Oops, I forgot to mention the courgette, punnet of grapes, and a mango. It did mean I had to go out and get some Elmle4 plant cream because I have more fruit than my fruitbowl can cope with (not complaining!!) and I am making the most enormous fruit salad and possibly even a Pimms style fruit-filled drink.I love the Leedle boxes but I really cannot fit any more into the fridge.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Liddle had no boxes out today. Sometimes they are ok. Other times they are full of fluffy furry fruit. I think the first one I got was awesome, the rest have needed to be chosen carefully, or are just downright dodgy...!In other news, dd and I have sown a gazillion OOD seeds. Fingers crossed they don't all grow...I'm very glad she opted not to go to youth this evening😀.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!2

Just to say that I did finally finish the French book I had to read and am now starting to re-read it (a photocopy) along with a highlighter and a pen. I will be competent to teach it. I will, i will, I WILL!!!!It is much easier to read second time around.😀NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!4

Talking today to my counsellor, there's a lot going on with work, and I have been able to accept most of it, which is just as well, as most of it is out of my control!!!Then I mentioned the house. And the mess I live in. I don't do that at work, but even so, I'm currently going through the gubbins I have accumulated there and am binning/ recycling, and am relishing the cathartic result. So why can't I do that at home, eh? If I want to sew something, there's so much other stuff to move that I just can't face, that I end up not sewing. I want to build a planter thingy and have some wood. But need to rootle around to find the claw hammer to remove the nails from the wood, then rootle some more to find nails to hammer the wood together...What is preventing me from doing it??One to ponder. And hopefully do something about...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!2

Apple, that's my whole focus in the house, to be able to have free access to my stuff, so that I don't have to do half a dozen jobs to start the one I want to start. Totally know where you're coming from.2023: the year I get to buy a car1

The rain is very welcome! It is still surprisingly warm/hot out there. By the end of a day at work, my feet are all puffy and swollen, and it takes until the next morning for them to be back to normal.I'm just enjoying listening to the rain falling 😀.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!1

Not got any rain here in Le Shire yet, still 24 degrees outside and a low of 16 tonight.I really think that storage is the answer, once you have a place to put the things and everyone knows where they live, then it is easier to get at. That is why I want the roof spaces boarded out and lined, you can't stand up full height in there - well, I probably could
, but there will be 5 foot of height to KALLAX the hell out of, and label accordingly, and once the things that are only used once or twice a year are stowed in a sensible place, then it frees up more space in the downstairs part of the house for the things that are used a bit more often and need to be on hand.
But then we have 5 bikes that I am currently falling over all the time. If they are being used 2 or 3 times a week, there is no point locking them away in the shed because it is a total pain getting them in and out again... or so I tell myself, but really I need to get rid of stuff from out of the shed.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!
