I have dark circles under my eyes. I noticed them cos I was in work and used the loo. I was wearing my mask and a woolly hat, so only my eyes were visible. Then I looked in the mirror and got a shock! Such dark circles stared back at me. I thought it might be the light, so tried again once home. Same result. Guess I'm tired...

That's good!  Sleep is one of the most important things you can do for your health.  I know you know ... hugs.

Thanks, karma. Yes, I know that I need sleep, but my body isn't complying. Grrr. Another disturbed night. Sigh.
Today, I have already been to sainz with dd, for gf/df items. Dd took loads of gorgeous photos of frosty stuff, including spider webs that were clearly made by drunk spiders... We walked both ways so I'm over 6000 steps already. On the way home we passed a cafetiere sitting on the wall outside a house. It was beautifully covered in frost and clearly there for the taking. Dh tends to smash ours, so we always pick up spares in the ch shops when we can. So I claimed it and even managed to get it home unbroken :D

Not surprised you are tired , and sorry to hear sleep is not good. Be kind to yourself - no alarms where possible (later in the week than usual if no commute, maybe?), lots of fluids etc - but you know all of this and are probably doing it anyway.. x

I tend to get up at 6 in the week, greent, as dd wants waking at 6.45 and the morning time is the only time I get to myself now. I like to get a workout done then, or meditation.
Today I did only wake up (for the umpteenth time...!) at 7.55 and dd had asked to be woken at 8, so no time alone today plus a poor night. Ugh! However, I did some gentler workouts and then we had our walk, so that was good time together.

Really really annoyed at what top level footballers seem to be getting away with. It's an attitude I see in some pupils: I can just say sorry afterwards and then it's all okay. Cos that means there are no consequences. So I get away with it. Idiots.
And then, the people who are still going round shops without a mask on. Why????

  • We have a large interest free mortgage. We’re hoping to be able to get a new deal in March when I get my pension as obviously our income will be increased. In the meantime we have been paying a little extra every month. My question is-will this extra be reducing the balance?
