After many years of good service, I'd managed to crack the screen on my tablet. So, dh bought me a new tablet and set it all up, for Christmas. Only I couldn't get on with the light settings and they were giving me headaches. So he set up 'his' tablet for me today, which is much better. Then this newest-to-me tablet decided to no longer accept the pin number we'd set it up with. What??? So I'm now back on my original tablet!
And it turns out that it is a w1nd0ws issue - it kicks in a few hours after setting it up, and their solution is to not use a pin!!! Looks like we'll have to do a full reset and re-install eveything. Again...

Well, here we are at the end of 2020. Let's just move into January with no big fuss. It's only another month, really...

Well, I got myself up nice and early to do a workout, and it took me over 30 mins to actually start it! Not quite sure what I was dithering about doing to fill the time... But I had a great session (thank you Chloe Ting) and then woke dd, washed and took us both out for a 15 min early walk. The good thing was the chattering from dd plus the fact that when we got home, she was ready for her breakfast there and then. Sometimes we've had to wait a couple of hours as she just wasn't hungry first thing...
Operation Tidy Up is in progress.
The Cmas cards are all down and trimmed for present tags or recycled.
I keep trying to tidy up my needlefelting, but sorting it just seems to spread it out even more...
Dd is working on her birthday list now - I've told her she needs to get a wiggle on as we now only have 12 days to fulfill her wishes...

Up and at 'em again this morning. Did a Men's Fitness workout then took dd out for a walk - in the rain. Ugh. She was hungry before we left the house this time! And has informed me that after tomorrow's walk she will rebel and refuse to go. Nothing like planning your rebellion, eh?
Today I shall remove the tinsel and try to get dd to de-decorate her mini cmas tree.
More mini-jigsaw and more school prep will also be done. And a z00m crafting session this afternoon.

Schools. What a mess. 'Nuff said. For now, anyway...

That's my approach to January (as well as the NST: JITTERBUG, of course!)
5 bottles of water per day (=3.5l if I manage it all) And if I'm not required in school every day, then I can stay near a loo!
    4 veg at lunchtime
    3 veg at tea time
2 choc bars (my 85% 25g ones form aldee) as puddings
    1 exercise session
I admit now that I may swap over my 2+3 items... But an increase in veg can only be a good thing.

Most impressed at your proposed water intake.... I would definitely need to be by a loo all day if I did that!

I think that I may have to switch my 4+5 round! Firstly, I'm not making it to 3.5l and I'm also jogging to the loo a lot anyway. I'm managing a lot of veggies but more will always be a good thing to consume; and the chocolate goes down with no bother. And I'm still doing an exercise session each day. So overall, it looks like a workable plan.
The weather outside is well grotty. It looks oh-so-mild and then once you are out in the wind and the rain, it chills you to the bone... A good reason to stay inside, eh?
We are not back to sch yet - weds is our term starting date, so we'll see what develops...
