The triceratops has a head and 4 legs so far, so he could be anything really! But as long as he ends up more dinosaur-y and less sausage-dog-y then I'll be happy.
Fraid I can't do pics...
Remembered I get paid today. Yay! But totally forgot to look at my bank account. Oops.Went to my laptop at 8am to do some school work. Boo. Discovered that today isn't a work day so it was only a chasing-marking-recording day. Yay!Received an email about my hours and pay for next year - yay! Though it does depend on the kiddies who said they wanted to do the A level still wanting to do it... So it may drop. But that's ok with me.The sock bruise on my foot is diminishing a little although it is still rather impressive. It has gone down to my toes and then along my 4th toe and in between my3rd and 4th toes. What has surprised me is that it actually hurts when I press it. That may sound stupid, but I thought the bruising was just 'run off' from the ankle, not the real, proper, tender bruising it has turned out to be!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!3 -
I have logged on - and been paid, thank you very much. There is rather a lot of money in there! For me, anyway. Dh has done ALL the food shopping for the last 3 weeks and that hascome out of the joint account, plus I've not paid anything to dd's savings, as that is a passbook one. No gym or swim payments. No charity shop visits... And all that accounts for a fair bit. Some wool stuffs have been stabbed into some semblance of a dinosaur. Sort of...!A bodyrock workout got done this morning without too much amending. Still no leaping around, lunges, anything that does not go straight up and down... I've been on the wii again, doing the step 'game' and even on that, the stepping sideways off the board is not do-able.It has been a strangely busy day. Work stuff and dd's school stuff. They have last lesson on a Weds 'off' which is brill. And during her PE lesson, she was able to do some of her dance classes on z00m as that was when the teacher was trialling them this week. She also missed some of her history lesson, so had to catch up with that later. As well as homework and challenges from school.Dh has been on video editing for Sunday so we've hardly seen him. Tomorrow he has to go and film (as the person who did it last week made a bit of a hash of it and it meant that dh had to spend a lot longer on making it better) so will be out for a lot of the day.Trying to think of a theme for May's NST challenge...It's may on Friday - and that's soon!!!!!!!!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!3

Where did April go?25 nsds - helped along immensely by being housebound by my ankle for 20 days...28 headspace sessions, and 24 exercise sessions, cos even I can do belly-down-kneeling-push-ups. Though getting back up off the floor can be hilarious...Dd had another PE lesson today and asked me to show her some exercises. We had fun!I did more wii stepping stuff and then tried the jogging. Twice. On the spot. Bad move, as now my ankle really really aches and has stiffened up. Whoops. As dd said, I won't be doing that again for a while!!I've set up the May NST 'challenge' over on the DFW board.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!3

Oh karma you can join or not join, there is no pressure! Dip in and out, read, not read, lurk, not lurk. Ooh, so many possibilities! In fact, there's not a lot of challenge to it this month. You can't challenge yourself and others when circumstances might all change, or income is decimated. It's a case of finding a structure, keeping afloat, keeping prespective, and having somewhere to chat this month amidst the uncertainty.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!1

Contact tracing. So, imagine schools go back, even with only a few pupils. A teacher becomes ill. So would every single child then be contacted, plus their families, plus all the other kids intheschool who might have touched the same door handle, walked past the infectee in the corridor...

I have been to the shop! I have driven! That is the first time in 3 weeks. I wouldn't want to be driving daily, but it is a relief to know that I can do it without causing too much aching in my ankle.I did an aldi shop, so not too exciting, but I do like to food shop. Don't like other types of shopping though - I'm not one for 'going round the shops' for a look. Unless it's charity shops, of course. And dd has started her revision for her end of year exams. They're open-book and only about 1 hour long, but still need learning for. I think I'm going to give my pupils an open-book piece of work that I will grade. But it will only be on the most recent work, not the whole year. And possibley another task that does cover the whole year and should mean that those who have worked through the year can simply pull paragraphs out of their book. It will depend on which year group it is.Hmmm, go me getting all organised...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!4
