I don't like bickering and finger pointing, so I'm doing lots of sighing, shrugging my shoulders and rolling my eyes.
Dd had a pretty good day at 'sch' today and I got some stuff done too. I had a quick peek at some of the dozen educashunal  sites and am following up on a couple.
I did make my wool rainbow, along with wool clouds, and it does look rather fab!
But the patio didn't get done as the rain arrived and put me off.
Though I did look online for some bday ideas for next month, and found a couple of pairs of sandally-shoey things that I like the look of. But they may not arrive until June...
Am I odd in not finding the lockdown hard? Maybe because my day is usually so structured (and will be again from Mon) that I totally enjoyed the 2 1/2 weeks off before dd went back to 'sch'. And dh is willingly going out and doing the shopping, especially now that I can't walk much at all, or drive. I still have a comprehensive list of housey jobs to tackle should I get too desperate...

I am on my 2nd coffee and 3rd bottle of water, a pineapple upside down cake is baking, as is banana bread. And I have even washed up the evidence...

Blimey, apple, what time did you get up?  The lockdown isn't hugely difficult for me in some ways - I'm kind of limited in what I can do anyway.  But I *do* miss days out once a week plus little trips into the centre of town, and I miss adding "ooh, I fancy that" items to the supermarket delivery.

Nope - lockdown is fine for me, too :) I'm really not a very sociable person at all!

My ankle is aching today, Cath, but it is mending. It is a beautiful array of colours all over and still fairly swollen. Dd tells me that I hobble a little, so I need to slow down and try to put equal weight on both legs. And that is harder than it sounds, as I'm scared of it hurting...

greent - glad I'm not the only one! But I've only the 2 dd + 1 dh at home, unlike your little clan!

I do miss being able to just decide to do things, like think "maybe we could go in to London this weekend?" or "might go to the garden centre and look for some plants", but that's not the biggest hardship one can go through at a time like this!
Exactly, thats what I was trying to say.

Hmm, maybe the more unsociable one is, the easier one finds lockdown!
Today I have done something with the half a jar of hazelnuts that have been sitting staring at me for...oooh... years.... I have made hazelnut milk (yum!) and had a go at making hazelnut chocolate spread (double yum!) The recipe sites all looked too complicated so I made my own version...:
soak hazelnuts overnight in water (I then used half of them to make milk and added the dregs to the whole nuts)
zap the remaining nuts + dregs from milk-making with a zapper.
add a dollop of coconut oil, a spoonful of cocoa powder, vanilla essence, maple syrup (we have the proper stuff brought over by stepdd last summer)
taste and see what you think, then add a dollop of vitalite (keeping it df for dd) and more maple syrup if required.
    zap
    zap
    zap
A food processor would probably make it much smoother but it does taste yummy!
I have also done my 12 min exercise routine thingy plus 50 kneeling press ups plus 100 squats.
The sun is shining and all is peaceful. Long may it continue.
