    Good luck with shred Cath!

We have had a wonderful day so far :D. A relaxed get-up, pootled off to church, dd and I had a picnic lunch and stayed to the craft session. We made felted mice and both loved it. So much so that we have already ordered 2 kits online! And our friend who was running the session said that you can use stuffing to make white creations (ie mice) so we're excited to try that. And she also made a yummy chocolate gorgeous gluten-free cake for us.

Now we are home and dd is eating her tea with utube :D whilst I have the Tour final leg in the background. It is leftovers for tea for dh and I. Nice and easy.

    Up and at 'em today.

    Headspace - done
    Coffee - drunk
    Breakfast -munched
Dh - sent off to work
    Dd - woken
    Workouts (one with 8 + 12 k KB, one bodyweight) - done
Big bookcase - emptied and moved a smidge but I need dh to help shift it downstairs. Or a rope.
    First wash - just finished
Dining room curtains - taken down for washing

What else do I want to do?
    -swim with dd soon
    -wash those curtains
    -eat lunch
    -tidy the green box
    -tidy the tray
    -read my book
-prep tea - some sort of savoury crumble
    -eat no sugar

    Not too bad :D.

I'm glad I didn't try to get the bookcase downstairs alone. It definitely needed 2 people.

No tidying happened. Maybe tomorrow...Though I did do the prep for one class up until half term.

Wise decision re: the bookcase. I got myself stuck on the stairs once with a piece of furniture as didn't have the strength to move it and just had to stand there and hold it!!

I did consider having a go myself, using a rope. But the only rope that's strong enough was long ago commandeered into becoming a rope ladder. Probably just as well.

What a soggy day. I've been for a routine blood test and shopped at sainz, using an 8 off 40 voucher. I've mostly ironed the curtains, but they all need more wonderwebbing. Dh had a sort through his books last night and made a pile that can go, so I've been bringing the rest downstairs to re-shelve them.

And I've discovered that the guttering end that we mended isn't doing its job. Oops.

Having guttering problems here in that we moved the water butt and now the guttering keeps leaking, we fix it (well think we have) and it rains and it drips everywhere again!

I did a couple of 5 min workouts while dd had her swim class. I worked rather hard and am all tired out now!

Tomorrow dd and I are going book-hunting in the charity shops. The car is still being serviced/worked on, so we're on the buses. Nevertheless, I reckon we can easily get to 11 ch shops...

  • Love reading about your charity shop finds. I have a daughter aged 6 and she loves having a nosey round charity shops to spend her pocket money instead of going in the more expensive mainstream shops

Off we trotted this morning, getting back about 4 hours later. Dd bought herself some gel pens and books and 2 books for her nephew; I bought her a set of books and bought myself 4 tops (grand total of 6.49), a book to stick photos in, a lunch-sized cool bag to replace one that got lost. We refreshed in C0sta and I made the most of their but-one-get-one-free to bring home a coffee for dh.

Some extra work arrived, so I've done some of that, but need a glitch sorting. It may require a phone call tomorrow, to hurry it along.

I also did 2x 5min workouts. I planned just a KB one but felt so good that I did a BW one afterwards.

Big sis and niece have arrived, which is lovely. Niece will disappear tomorrow and big sis is here until sat.

Tomorrow, dd and I will swim - prob in the morning as niece is not an early riser! Dh is off to work at 8. I plan to get up at 6 and try to get most of the work done.

Our needle-felting kits arrived today, so I've been playing with that. Have had a go at making a mini snowman with a top hat, but using stuffing for the white, instead of costly wool.
