Ooh, karma, I've never worked out how to do those split quote things with comments in between!
No advice from the dr, apart from 'do more planks than sit-ups'. :rotfl: I'm not concerned - it's tender but not painful, and I'd expect more advice from an expert than my GP. My ideal is that someone pops in a coupe of stitches to hold it back in place -under a local, not a general - and gives me a clear progression to build up the muscle.
Dh mended the gap with expanding foam from the outside. I think he also put up a 'squirrels not welcome here' sign too!
I have done my workouts - outside again, it was only 23 degrees in the shade...
We shall be travelling by tram and bus, with the option of doing it all by bus if required. Once home, I plan to wallow in the paddling pool, bug-filled or not!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
We were travelling from 12.30 until17.00. Ooph. It was just so hot, I was dripping sweat all the time... Dd really struggled on the return leg. We were glad to get off the tram (no probs with their tracks...) to the 'cooler' 30 degree air... We both went in the paddling pool as soon as we got home, and I also had a cold shower.
Anyhow, dd has been discharged from that hospital, so we should never have to do that journey again :T.
I checked the weather in Fredericksberg, where dh's mum is, and for once, it was hotter here!
Dd is out playing - I'll leave her out until it cools a little.
Nowt planned for tomorrow. Hope to do morning workouts again.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
I have done my morning workout - in the rain! I think that it is cooler now (20) than it has been all night. I really struggled to get cool and sleep, so was kneeling in the cold water in the bath several times. And dh wrapped a gel ice pack in a pillow case, which I put in the small of my back and that helped tremendously.
So a quiet day is planned .
But first, breakfast!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
That sounds really good, apart from the reason for the whole struggling-with-the-heat thing! Enjoy your brekkie.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Have done my 2x 5min workouts - was planning a third one, but once I'd done the 2nd, there was no energy left!
Now off to swim...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
That's dd and I all worn out for the day! There were a lot fewer people there, which was good. And a boy we'd seen yesterday was there again, so dd played with him and another girl - much more fun than mummy!
However, we do need to get dd's plantlets planted out, in order to clear the back area of the 'dining room', in order to clean + tidy said area, in order to be able to store back bedroom items there while we do the room-swapping shenanigans we have planned...
But before that, there's just 45k left of the Tour ...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Yay! Got most of the plantlets into real soil, and the rest are at least outside. The rug has been hoovered, but I'll wash it tomorrow, as well as finish clearing and cleaning that area/corner.
We are not going swimming tomorrow :j. We are both pooped, and dd's cough seems to have returned, sigh...
Did all the reports I needed to do, and replied to an email. :T
Tomorrow dd and I are going to a craft session after church, to make a felted mouse. I hope to learn a bit about the felting technique, to see if it's something I'd like to do more of.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Apart from the return of the cough, it sounds like you're having a great start to the holidays. I'm going to give '30 day shred' another go over the Summer.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0
