Saw my counsellor his morning, always a good thing. I'll not see him now until Sept. I'm looking forward to a long break, but am glad that there is a return date. I guess that shows that I'm not ready to stop just yet.
Am having a summer break from counselling too. Relieved by mine and not sure I'll go back. Will be interesting to see if a few weeks into the break I miss it.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

I took dd to sch this morning, then walked up to the shops as the bus would've got me there before the shop I wanted was open. Got home for 9.35, scoffed some brekkie and organised lunch for dd + me and went back to school to pick her up at 10. Took her to the consultant -all fine. Took her back to school for 1.15. Will be going to collect her at 3.15 at the end of the sch day, then take her back at 6 for a leavers' disco and finally pick her up from the disco at 8.
6 visits to her school today. Ooph. I'm glad that we live so near!
Currently on 11k steps. Not going to do a 'formal' workout as I'm still pooped from swimming, still sneezing, still v snotty, and reckon I'll get over 15k steps by the end of the day.
Debtfree -my stepkids are now 28, 30 and 32! When I met their dad they were 10, 11, 13. That suited me just fine, as teenagers were what I was used to. They are great kids and we get on well. I've never tried to be their mum - they already had one of those! Just realised that they are my step kids, but dd's half-siblings.

Have had to ease up today, as I've felt pretty rotten . Nowt earth-shattering, just in a sore throaty, snotty, hot/cold, let-me-just-sit-down-for-a-while way.
During an up time, I did do zcut kettlebell #5 - only took me 6 mins! But I did use a light kb.
Today's rain thwarted my plan to mow. It's been on my list for a week now... Well, it's doing just fine there....NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Took dd to school then got the tram to go for a swim. I did 20 lengths - felt like I could do more, but knew I needed to pace myself. Then popped to liddle for some items, and found 2x Warburt0n gf mini loaves for 20p each. Happy.
Now watching a bit of the women's Tour.
It's dd's last day and she doesn't want me to collect her. A friend asked if I was going to go anyway, to say goodbye to people, but I said no. Firstly, dd has asked me not to go; secondly, I have said my thank yous and goodbyes already; thirdly, I don't do long, drawn-out farewells.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
