I have had a lovely day at work. And I trotted home nice and promptly and did workout #1 of the month. I have eaten according to the plan - I came very close to mindlessly opening up a packet of gf biscuits a friend had bought me, then I realised that they wouldn't help the plan and stopped myself. Result! I have decided to give them to a gf friend when I see them on Sat.

Dd had a day of cycling proficiency and quite enjoyed it.

Tomorrow has a list - as ever - but it is mostly negotiable. The challenge is to get it all done if I can. And if not, there's always the tennis on the telly!

Go me - I did all but one item on my list. And didn't feel that I rushed it at all.

Counselling was worthwhile; an item was posted; money was paid in to dd's savings; aldee provided choc + bacon (as you do!); sainz yielded £30 of gf/df for £24 with a voucher; the last of the knitting was done to make a bunch of 5 flowers; aforementioned chocs were divvied up, ribboned and labelled for under £2 per person; workout #2 was achieved; as was a good swim of 32 'lengths' - some get shortened if there are a lot of kids in the shallow end; an email was sent; headspace and reading were both done; food was on plan. Taa daa! :T

Dd thoroughly enjoyed a day of bikeability. That plus a swim lesson has fair worn her out!

    Only 2 more get-ups :D.

Dh's mum has had a stroke and is currently unable to speak coherently. So pleased we went out to see her at Eastertime. It seems that she will have rehab for speech and for feeding herself. She'll prob be in a wheelchair now, as she was totally wobbly on her pins anyway, but sheer grit kept her 'walking'.

Today dd had a scholars' day at the posh school, which she thoroughly enjoyed.

The window measuring man came round today and was v efficient. The scary news is that they need at least 4' of working space in the upstairs rooms. Gulp!

I had a good day at work. Will be doing a list for tomorrow, to try tohave it all done, and not need to go back before sept (or rather, Aug 30th )

Did workout #3, but only 3 rounds (12 mins) as I was pretty weary. Stil, not a bad effort....

Am once again toying with the idea of joining the gym/pool where dd has her lessons. Hopefully just for 2 months, but I need to check the t+c. At the mo, if I swim every time she has a lesson, it costs me ~£19 per 4 weeks. The gym/pool membership is ~£26. So, if over the next couple of weeks and the summer hols, I go x2 per 4 weeks, I'm quids in. BUT, if I go on the bus, it's 1.50 each way. Tjough, with careful time management, I reckon I could do it under 1 hour and only pay 1 fare...

    Ponderations aplenty!

That thing about working space is quite something! The stack of flatpacks for my new kitchen took over half the living room ... because its just me here, it was do-able, but with a family, it would've been a nightmare.

Good luck on the swimming timing :)

I have finished for 8 weeks. Yay!

And the room is nice and tidy for the new term, as my best-ever-colleague did lots yesterday when she was in. So I just finished it off today. It looks fab.

I have joined the gym/pool. On a monthly basis. Need to give 30 days notice. Starts Monday - cos I ain't going to get there before that. Happy. Have my gym induction on Mon qat 9am - it was free, so why not! I dont' have to do what they say...

Got home and did a workout! Upped the time and the weight on some bits. happy.

And the cap has been lifted so I am back to happy marking. Happy because it is all extra. happy too, because I worked out how much I am paid per individual question, and am targeting the more lucrative ones... And they are also the ones that I can do with the tennis on in the background. A tough life!

karma - I fully intend to take it easy, but I want that to involve as much exercise as I can - both with dd when she breaks up and on my own. And I also want to get my planning for Sept done before dd breaks up. And go to see my mum while dd is on school journey - and use the hotel gym too!

Oops, best get back to earning before I get all timed out...

Sounds good to me, apple - exercise with dd, planning already done, and using dd's time away for *you* to be away :) you're doing great.

Slept in until 7.30 this morning. Sheer luxury.

Did my workout, using heavier weights and doing 1 extra round per exercise.

Took dd to a party and stayed there, cos she wanted me to. We both had a total sugar overload!!! So once home, I had a proper lunch and she had some pretzels and breadsticks, to counterbalance the sugar rush.

It was lovely to go to a party over lunchtime, as we then had the rest of the day to relax/recover and enjoy ourselves.

I am pottering on with marking and keeping an eye on the tennis. Dh is upstairs 'on the computer' and dd is out playing.
