Thanks guys for the offers - any colour will do!
Have been feeling rubbish today, which was unexpected. Me and the sofa and dd's duvet have been best friends this afternoon. I don't feel like eating, but have requested chips and peas for tea. No idea what I'll take for lunch tomorrow...!
Hbbb - I shall have a gentle week, as I don't think I could do anything else! At least I have Tuesdays off so it's only 1 day to get through for now.
Dd was playing out the front this afternoon - in the rain! She loved getting wet and singing to the rain to go away.

Survived another day at the chalkface! Lovely colleagues concerned for me, and lovely pupils too. I pre-empted any issues from the darling y9s in their 2nd lesson (1 before break and 1 after) by having Asterix ready and waiting - with French subtitles - for them when they arrived. They loved the slapstick-ness of it and were enthralled!
Realised at lunchtime that I was not feeling good - because I hadn't eaten. So I went and had my first school dinner in over 5 years! I had plain rice and veg, which I wolfed down, and felt much better for. I know eating is an obvious thing we need to do, I guess I was just out of the habit!
So tomorrow I need to get back to eating well and regularly.
I've signed up to NSK July : back to basics.

A fairly busy, but also a productive day. I walked to the shops twice, and back once. Go figure - that sounds like I have Dorothy shoes to get me home!
I caught the bus back first time around, with the shopping; and walked back the second time, with 6 stacker boxes plus lids, for work. I have walked nearly 15,000 steps :j. And have done Jiggle free July day 1.
I meant to tidy the landing but got distracted by going through all my trousers. Found 3 pairs + 1 tee shirt to put in the cs bag.
Discussions have been had recently with dd. She wanted a new bed as hers was so high up that she could no longer stand on it without hitting her head on the ceiling. We found one in Arg0s, but hadn't got around to ordering it. A few nights ago, dd informs me that she no longer wants the Arg0s cabin bed, but instead wants one she can play under. After another look at Arg0s, we find one. Then dh points out that it is only 75cm off the ground - the same as the dining room table. Dd no longer wants that bed! So I suggest just taking the doors off the wardrobe part of her current bed, clearing out the contents, and she could play in there. Cue a happy dd! And a relieved mummy that no-one wanted her bed!
Still in dd news: she managed to fall off her scooter twice this evening. Grazed hands and shoulder first time, then knees the second. I'm glad I insisted she wear her helmet! Not that it made any difference today.... So, sav1on, ca1po1 and plasters featured heavily in tonight's activities!
Some crafting today: the butterflies do not work. Simples. I have tried various things, but the end result is pants! So I shall write them off as a 'learning' experience and return to what I know works: robins. Got 12 cut out and chests cut too. So, no excuse now.
I have just 7 more working days til I break up. 1 of those is sports day, another is the last day where we have no lessons. So, 5 teaching days left!.

Another very satisfying day has been had. Teaching went well, kids behaved, and I got a ton of sorting, filing, labelling and binning done.
Then came home and did the same for dd's wardrobe! It is more streamlined and better packed. And, more importantly, clears a little more floor space.
Jiggle free day 3 got done this morning, along with 10 mins of tabata timing bodyweight exercises. This one included burpees :j!
Shuffled some money over to savings, which I'd forgotten to do yesterday. No wonder my account had so many digits in it!
Crafty stuff is just not happening at the mo. July's tally stands at zero so far! Oh well!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Jiggle free day 4 completed.
NSD achieved.
Sports Day fun had - I was in the female staff 4x100m relay :T! Came last, but sooooo enjoyed it! Also spent the day on the Triple Jump. A lovely sunny day but ended up too sunny to be outside in for so long. Have taken plenty of headache - fighting - off pills, and grabbed 40 winks on the sofa too.
It was good to get in the shower and scrub off the suncream and sweat. Hair got another bicarb/acv wash and is feeling good.
And dh is sitting with dd tonight, so I oddly do not quite know what to do with the time! Wimbledon highlights are on, and the Tour starts soon, so we move seamlessly into another reason to watch the box!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Jiggle free day 5 done - took 4min51 this time, so significantly up from yesterday's one.
NSD in the bag. Dh's work organised a family fun day and we had a great time. The weather stayed dry for us, the food was excellent (I had a special g-f platter with chicken, camembert, smoked fish and 9 veggies!!), ice cream, drinks, bouncy castles galore, games, fair rides, face painting. All for free! :j
Dh took dd to tap and ballet this morning - yay! So I got a load of washing done, and sewed on 22 robin chests, pinned them together with their hanging loop, and sewed them all up. Result!
Dh sat with dd last night and in the end she came in to bed with us at 10. So no better with him! Maybe a good slug of whisky would help ...?!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Jiggle free day 6 done, plus 2x 5min tabata sessions. Sweaty result!!
Church was a family service, with all the kiddies in, instead of being at kids klub. All good fun!
And I've used my coop voucher. Loo roll! 16 rolls for £5, so I got 2 lots, plus other bits.
Now, just after 1pm, the dilemma arises: Wimbledon or the Tour? No choice, really. Barbie is on, and probably not gonna be shifted for a while.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Dilemma resolved, Tour watched with Wimbledon in the advert breaks! And several robins stuffed and sewn up, but only 2 with eyes. Back to button hunting....NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0
