The night was a toughie! Dd was wimpering in her sleep for most of it and she was extremely wriggly. She had 2 doses of ca1po1 and some water, which helped. We finally came round at 7.45am!

I'm keeping her off school simply because she was so off colour yesterday and ate so little that she'll have no energy for today. She's not a child who bounces back quickly - it's like she has to claw her way back, especially as she hardly ate yesterday evening.

Dd seemed to start off ok, but when we walked to the bus stop, she was obviously worn out. I offered to go back home but she wanted to continue - and it was a good choice from my point of view as we did need a few bits.

She lay against me on the bus, but enjoyed going to the library. We then had to get more ca1po1, but by this time I had to carry her and so it continued all the way home. We couldn't get home without more money on the Oyster, and that newsagent was next to Aldee so I popped her in a trolley and she arranged the shopping. I'd reduced it severely, as I knew I'd also be carrying a child as well as the rucksack! All those weeks of super heavy shopping bags stood me in good stead!

So, home we came and she spent aaages sorting out the lego into colours. Since, she's improved and actually eaten. So she'll be back at school tomorrow.

Me? I got my exercise done, library, chemist, bank, newsagent, aldee, washing, soup, Wimbledon, and finished 6 more robins, bringing the June total to 31 so far. :j Go me!

Today is another day off sch for dd. She slept well and had started breakfast, then had a bout of diarrhoea. Darn it! Or rather, wash it! So she and I are both off school then.

Think she'll have a telly day and I'll have a making-stockings day - at least until I run out of red fleece! We'll not be leaving the house ... just in case!

Not much money-saving going on recently. June has been quite tight but we'll still be fine to make the £1100 payment once we are paid, just not much over this month. So although not much extra saving - prob about a tenner in total- not much spending either, which is always positive. :D

So... In July.... I shall ...

... Do Jiggle free July daily
    ... Do a 5-10min workout 3x week too
... Wash and condition hair with acv / bicarb
... Work out how to get extra N3ctar points. They aren't the most efficient points, but useful for getting some of dd's foodstuffs. It would be nice to get them for free!
... Get my crafty tally up to 75
... Go away for 8+ days
    :D

Ooph! A governor meeting overran by 45mins so instead of legging it home in time to get dd to sleep, she was still awake and waiting for me. However, she was asleep within 10 mins of me sitting with her.

She'll be back at school tomorrow - famous last words?? - and I'll be taking her in. Lovely neighbour isn't well and dh would usually do a Thurs except he's overloaded with his current project and needs to hit the office early. So it's fallen to me to do it, which is ok as y12s are off timetable this week so I'll need no cover.

I plan to do a workout before waking her.

Today's successes were watching lots of Wimbledon and enjoying dd picking up the jargon and rules. And making ...11 hanging stockings and 5 hanging bags with a tree outline decoration on them plus a hand sewn on bell. Made the bags out of the leftovers from the stocking fabric - result! Now I want to find a green fleece to make green stockings!

    Well, what a night!

I was up for much of it, in the bathroom, eventually throwing up, but I also blacked out twice. Once when sitting on the side of the bath, and the slap of my arms (and forehead!) as they hit the floor woke me. And later when I had been sick and was running the cold tap, I was woken by the sound of running water, and I was lying on the floor. Given the tiny size of our bathroom, I consider myself extreeeeemely fortunate not to have damaged myself much in the falls!

So, quite reasonably in my opinion, I am NOT going to go to work! I shall not be doing a workout either. But I shall be lying on the sofa with HUTH and Wimbledon for company - if I can focus on it long enough before reaching the land of Nod...

I was just having a quick catch up before waking the students, A*M but didn't want to read and run ... do look after yourself today, don't go far or fast, plenty of liquids etc.

Do you need to get your head checked? I mean that in a kindly way, smacking head on floor isn't too good for you as Mr. Hbbb recently found out and in a very similar fashion it seems. Take care x

Thank you for stopping by, Hbbb. I've been dozing til just now! When I am poorly like this, my skin is very sensitive and hurts - both of my sides, the undersides of my arms, the back and sides of my legs.... So I am now trying to drink, but it has taken my body 20mins to not be overheating and to cool down again. Pesky body!

I know I should eat something, so have just had an apple and am sucking a mint humbug.

Think I can claim another NSD for today...:D !

Dh is out tonight so I shall go to bed with dd - if I can stay awake that long!

Okay, off to lie down again with the Nadal/Rosol match grunting in the background.
