Library books returned; sains shopping done; ch shop visited and bargainous wool bought; PO trip done; cheques paid in; aldee shop done - it only weighed 3 stone this time so much more manageable!

Also done a tough workout. I bottled out of 5 rounds as that would have taken me 30 mins and the intensity is too great to sustain that. So, ZWOW 18 done, plus 100 kettlebell swings for the fun of it!.

Power balls are made (sooooooo scrummy, must put them away v soon, as they keep going into my mouth!), soup is made but needs zapping.

    So, jobs still to do?
    - get a wash!
    - marking
    - separate SAS sheets
    - pop to chemist
    - sew
    - write cheque
    - sweep
    - wash up
    - have lunch
    Scintillating stuff here...

I think I may split the shopping in to 2 lots and go on 2 different days, so that I can enjoy the trundle home instead of staggering and struggling. Must just ensure I don't overspend!

All jobs done except separating sas sheets and writing the cheque. The amount for the latter may change if dd has to go to after school club anyway, so I could say I'm economising my cheques!

Got some machine sewing done today- a toddler skirt I bought for 75p because it had big flowers embroidered on it has made 12 hanging hearts! The backing is an old cotton sheet that I'd already started cutting up when I made dd her sling. So, some hearts are stuffed and ready for the hand-sewing bit. I have to take my time on that to make it neat and tidy. Tidiness does not come naturally to me!

Tomorrow marks the start of a 2 week eating pattern that has helped me lose fat in the past. I do so hope I stick to it!! Today has been enjoyable becaude I've walked plenty and my calf has been fine. Like being back to normal... Whatever normailty is...!

Tomorrow, I shall aim to complete all reports - about 50 left to do,so I may be being a little ambitious...

Did a TT to the mortgage today but i can't remember how much for!

I seem to have one month where I am able to throw a lot at it, then a month of more measured payments. Probably a balanced approach.

Off to sit with dd. She did aerobics today and is pretty tired. But a classmate is niggling her - has been since forever - and it's hard to let go when you are 6.

Well done on shopping bargains A*M ... am noting that bargain yarn made the shopping list again! Before you know it, you'll have a stash!

Going twice a week to do the shopping might gain you stamina for all that carrying and if you only put the weeks cash in your purse you won't be able to overspend by going twice, you're just left with a clear spending limit for the second trip!

If you're doing the extra running around and weight lifting those bags whilst you're at it, you might be able to cut down on that terrible burpee business :rotfl:

Hope DD gets off Ok, I hated being 6 too! x

    Hello Hbbb,

I think I may already have a wool stash. When does it go from' a few balls' to 'a stash'? I've no doubt already crossed that line... :D

We went out to a bbq this evening so I've got in my protein for tonight! Twas an early one, so we took dd and she simply went upstairs to their spare room to play with the Sindy dolls. She loved it! But, of course, sleep is now elusive. Hope she's not too long as I'd like to start snoring myself soon....

I've nearly done the reports, I think. Still got to do year 9 French and year 12 too - tho why we need to write reports that include grades when they have sat examimatioms is a bit beyond me. However, I shall venture to 'beyond' and do as instructed.

Day 1 of my 14 day eating plan is complete and successful. The hardest bit is between getting home and having tea. I'm trying to listen to my body to see if I am hungry or just in the habit of nibbling at that time. I know it is the latter!

No crafting today at all, but still a pretty enjoyable day. :)

Workout already done - 10 mins of 3 burpees on the minute plus weighted lunges (10k) to the end of the minute. Fun and sweaty!

But I have lost 20 mins somewhere! Can the thief please return them to me today...

Thursday - potentially a lovely day at work as I 'have' to spend half of it watching The Impressionists on utube. Tough, eh? Watched 30 mins yesterday and LOVED it! Not sure the boy pupil is quite so enamoured, but hah! I'm in charge!:D

I LOVED the Impressionists and boy pupil admitted he'd quite enjoyed it too. Just 15 more mins to watch tomorrow, then on to the nitty gritty analysing and discussing. In foreign. Fun!

Had a minor dilemma as dd was due to go to after school club with next door's dd. Then next door arranged for their dd to go to a friend's house after school so my dd was left with no-one to go with. Cue upset! A fantastic friend agreed to collect dd and take her back to her house til I could get home. Her dd is also coeliac - newly diagnosed - so my dd was 'safe' to eat their food. Crisis averted. Phew!

Finished the stitching up of 4 hearts plus 1 bird. Am having trouble getting the eyes right on the birds but will persevere. Have also stitched up most of Angelina's leotard - the floosie is parading around naked and armless at the mo - and 1 arm. Progress! Dh is off out in a few mins so if dd goes down quietly/ quickly, I shall machine up a few more hearts.

Eating plan day 2/14 completed well. Upping my protein at breakfast and lunch is keeping me full and less inclined to munch on munchies.

So, life is pottering on nicely, really. I am truly blessed.

If you have wool "put by" without a plan for it but bought it because it was a) cheap b) lovely c) both, then you're well on your way to having a stash; if you are buying it and then hiding it in the hope of knitting it up before OH sees it, then you definitely have a stash (especially if you try to get away with the "that? I've had it years!" when he does find it)!

Sparkling water is my saviour at that time! I drink 2 litres of it in the afternoons alone!

Glad it's all good ... and soon the summer holidays too! x

OK, I do have a stash. There. I've admitted it!

Yep, Hbbb, not long til the big hols. I've almost done all the reports, but must prioritise them today as it is the deadline. The kiddies are working well this week, tho a little loopy due to the heat. All the planning I did earlier is paying dividends as we have a focus for the next few weeks.

Am on the receiving end of yet another favour this morning. As dd's friend went for a sleepover last night, she therefore isn't being taken to school by her mum, who usually takes them both. So I've had to ask another lovely friend to do it. Boy does it get complicated, and I've only the one child to sort out!

    Off to make breakfasts.

I am glad to see the end of the week, although I can't quite pin point why. I guess some weeks are simply like that.

Dd has tomorrow all planned out already! After this weekend, dh has to work the next 1 if not 2, so we need to make the most of this one. Then once he has done those 2 weekends, we'll nearly be in July!

Have managed more than 10k steps, 10 veg, no sugar so £3 to the pot. Must consult my notebook and check I've put in all the £s I should have.

Off to have a mooch around mse :D.

She Who Must Be Obeyed was duly obeyed today and we have pottered on nicely.

Had a good rummage around some charity shops and I was inspecting material closely...! Almost bought bits, then put them back, having decided they were too pricey. Finally decided to focus on plain brown as I want to make hanging robins with a red fleecy chest, and put lavender inside. The eyes can be embroidered on and I don't think they'll need wings. Fortunately I found a double duvet for the princely sum of £2.50 so I nabbed it. That'll do flocks and flocks of birdies!

Need to finish the white hanging hearts - just 3 little seams to do. Got 5 stuffed and sewn whilst dd was at ballet.

So, today has involved parting with money but only about £12 and - of course - we got bargains!

Day 4/14 of new eating plan and all is well. Out of the 6 of us at work, 2 have given up, 2 are going really well, 1 is unknown and then there's me! Down 3lbs since the start and I hope to get under 10 stone by the end.

Tonight I need to do a little exam board paperwork and do my expenses. It'll be worth it in the end...
