Hair is dyed and I am less haggard and more 'normal'!
Workout is done and was definitely a toughie. ZWOW 14. Did 4 rounds instead of 5 as was seriously flagging. 10 of each of:
- push press 5k DBs
- thruster (squat press)
- reverse lunge with bicep curl
- preacher curl in squat position
- jump lunge (supposed to be weighted, but still need to protect my calf)
- broadjump burpee
And then I did 8 mins of trotting on the spot. Ooph!
I hope to have a go on the sewing machine this afternoon, as I've got a few bits cut out and pinned ready...
Dd's summer fair is in a couple of weeks, so I'll be interested to see if anyone has a craft stall and what they are selling.
Dd has roped dh in to read to her, so I'm off to make lunches.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Despite going no further than the front border - all of 3m max from the front door - its been a lovely day.
Washing x2, exercise, hair dye, sewing+ stuffing + stitching up, reading, washing up, gardening. All very domestic!
Dd is still struggling to get herself off to sleep on her own. Maybe I should start putting something in her drink...
No TTs today. Am happy not spending at all, so that there is some left over at the end. Dh has had some shares cheques come, which will be split between savings + mortgage. Free money! :jNST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

Yes, I brought the scales downstairs to weigh me + shopping. A tad abnormal behaviour, perchance, but I really wanted to know, as I knew it was a heavy load....
Maybe a tad, but hilarious mental image! Is this for specific recording purposes:are you going for a record? :rotfl:
And yes, my sch is private, and goes from nursery to A level. Over the years I've been roped in to teach y5 and 6. Below that is a whole different species... At the mo I do ks 2, 3, 4, 5!
Ahh, no wonder you're busy!
I didn't see the new broom much (oh dear, I now have a picture of her RIDING the broom in my head!). She is the spitting image of my dh's ex-wife, it's uncanny!!!
^^^ oooh must be tricky!
Dd's class did their heat for their school talent show, and dd won it and is through to the final! :T Only 3 kiddies entered, but nevertheless, she won and is thrilled!
Her pesky tooth got pulled out this morning, so I need to arrange a visit from the Tooth Fairy tonight. Best not forget that...
Off to put her down...

Doing the opposite with this, am letting my inner silver threaded goddess have her way!

Is this all part of the 100 sewing makes A*M?
Gosh, no! There was a time when even having things for the end of Nov seemed unlikely. I've borrowed a few library books for ideas and patterns, and am currently using bits of material I already have. Pretty soon, I'll know what I want to use and can look for specific colours/ patterns in the ch shops.
I remembered yesterday that you can change the stitch length on my sewing machine, and that makes the fiddly bits much easier. Phew!
Looks like it's a sunny day ahead, so church + kids klub. Got a whites wash in the machine so need to hang that out before we go. Dd needs to do some spellings and maths later. And I'd like to do more cutting out for sewing. Fun!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Got the washing done - plus another load; and did some cutting out; and dd did a few spellings.
However, I got hit with another headache after church, so took the painkillers with black coffee asap. Dh took dd out to play at a friend's house so I could loll on the sofa in peace. Have just taken more tablets and will do another dose before bed. Grrr to pesky heads!
That said, I did get things done as I'd get up and do something, then lie down again. Methinks an early night is in order.
Dh has been a star this weekend, spending lots of time with dd. He has had a big project dumped on him at work, so will have to gets lots done this coming week. And lovely neighbour has to work week days so isn't around for after school pick up. I'm unable to juggle my hours now, so it'll just have to be after school club for dd, and I'll collect her when I can.
My main goal for this week is to get all my reports done by the deadline - always a good idea, no?
And finish exam stuff to send them.
And claim my expenses from the .
And sleep well!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

Thank you Alchemilla and Hbbb! Am wearing my smug face as it's now 6 :j!
Tomorrow is the end of the run, as it is shopping day. I've promised myself not to have such heavy bags as last week! Otherwise I'll end up even shorter, my spine being compressed by all the weight!
My head eased up, tho I was asleep before dd again. Tonight she has gotten herself asleep before I could get up there, which is very nice indeed!
The teaching fairy gave me a free 40 mins today, and it helped me get more reports written - and have time to browse mse too! So I have fewer reports to do on Weds now, but really must finish off marking their exams before that!
So, my list for tomorrow is shaping up nicely, but has only 9 items on it so far.... Make that 11! No, 12... Aaargh! Must stop.....!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0
