Ha ha! Dd waited til dh left, then once she heard the front door closing, trundled in to me! So we had plenty of time to get organised, collect a friend, and go to Kids Klub. Although there were 32 kiddies, it was a surprisingly peaceful morning.

So, I have now met my NSD target :j And am nearly there with the exercise.:T. And the knitting.

A little more work has been done and I want to finish off all their paperwork tonight. It has been a frustrating centre and the feedback will be loooooong!

Dd had a good night's sleep - yippee! And slept til about 8.30, which was much appreciated. She's still in her jamas...

I, however, woke with a cracking headache - possibly a migraine of the sort I've not had in quite a while. 3 strong black coffees, painkillers ×2, and copious amounts of water have helped. As well as spending all morning dozing as dd and dh pottered around me. I'm worn out by it, so still in jamas myself. And dh only got dressed to do some food shopping for me.

Dozing was fun - like a kaleidoscope of happy thoughts running through my head.

We've not made it to the 100 acre wood. Dd has rescheduled us for Friday. She wants to go when it's raining as she reckons she'll have more chance of seeing Eeyore in the rain.

That's enough screen time for now. My eyes are still extremely tired.

Sorry you're feeling grot A*M especially in the hols, that's no good! Perhaps your head's trying to make you ease up from those other aches & twinges a bit?

Sounds like some excellent use of time lately, mind mapping (in colour I'm sure), knitting tally and plotting & planning! Am also looking towards June to try to increase income and zap the old mortgage a bit more!

Glad DD has recovered from meltdown & hope the week goes easy on you! Also hoping you have wellies at the ready for 100 Acre Wood visit!

    Hello Hbbb!

I'm feeling much better this morning, thank you. I was in bed before 9 and slept til 7.30. My first thought on waking was 'I've not got a headache!'

Yesterday was a day off everything. I was v glad to have dh around. There's only so much patience a 6 year old has with a dozing bed-ridden mummy!

Today we plan to go to the library, a local coffee shop, and aldee. Didn't want to aim too high! But first we have to watch our quota of cbeebies...

:T Yay! Way to go A*M!

Another quest eh? 100 days of sewing everything up springs to mind! :rotfl:

Hmm, seriously, shall have to think of something ... perhaps 100 days of Xmas Fayre prep (with ultimate aim of helping towards MF target, of course)?

After all, once we hit June it's only 6 months away ...
    :xmastree:

PS: Glad you're feeling better, it's amazing what a good night's sleep can do!

Dd and I have had a lovely pottering along together day. We eventually made it to the library where dd chose 6 books and I got 4. 2 of which are crafty ones: a knitting one that is pants, and a sewing one that's giving me a few ideas.

(I rather like the idea of MENDING 100 items, Hbbb!:D Tho I don't think we have quite that much yet)

We also visited the 2 charity shops, coffee shop (strawberry ice cream milk shake for dd!) and aldee where the shop was minimal, as I already had 10 books and a few ch shop bits to carry. Aldee usually do a money off voucher on the final Thurs of the month, so I'm waiting for that for next week's shop.

No exercise for me yet - still feeling rather wan. But a good day's eating. A few stripes have been knitted, plus an extra lavender bag to hit the target (super smug face is on!). A little paperwork for moderating has been completed, ready to get up early tomorrow and do more before dd surfaces. A wash has been done, and carrot soup and chocolate fudge have also been made.

Off to bed again very soon! Thanks for dropping by.

Got up at 6 - I'm supposed to be on holiday! - to do some more moderating before dd woke up. It ended up being a tricky centre, but dd obligingly slept on and I had the necessary 2 1/2 hours to do it. It's taken that pressure off me for the rest of the day now, which is great.

And I've also done a super tough workout. My calf is mending although I am still taking it easy on the leaping around! ZWOW 15 - 20 mins of sweat! My legs are now super jellified!

One more centre moderated means I'm one step closer to finishing; one more step closer to being able to tidy the tables; then start more craft. I reckon I'll aim for 100 items in 100 days from June 1st, which takes me to August 29th.

Ooh - today's mse email day! Must go and read it. Tis also PAYDAY :j:j:j

Took dd into town to buy a replacement foam water shooter! She'd won one at Kids Klub but it didn't work, so I'd said we'd get one we'd seen in th 99p shop. Then we had to go round the charity shops, of course! For a total spend of under £14, we acquired:
    -water shooter
-plant pot for a bday gift
    -a mushroom house - about 12" high
    -a buildabear - for 50p - mega bargain!
    -a unicorn
    -2 books for dd
-a book for my bil's bday
-a pair of Hello Kitty slipper style thingies
-a pair of size 9.5 doodles
-a pair of size 10 Fifi sandals
-a pair of size 10.5 trainers
    -a barbie style doll

    :T Result! :T

And I am worn out! May well go to bed with dd!

And I've realised that I've just 1 centre to mark + do associated paperwork, plus another one's paperwork, then I've cracked it! Dh has taken Friday off, so we are all going to look for Eeyore. That's my incentive to finish it all tomorrow.

Then I can start on reports - years 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12. Oh yes, then we have our internal end of year exams to mark.... Roll on June 12th as I think that's the deadline for it all.

As we wandered round the charity shops, I was sorely tempted to buy things simply for their fabric. But I resisted :T. I need to practice first and see what I am able to make before parting with cash. But I confess I did buy some lilac wool, to make more lavender bags. Oops!
