Aldee, washing, 1 centre started... Hmmm, not as much done yet as I thought! Currently sitting watching HUTH with a black coffee - my pre-workout one. Once that's all supped I shall exercise then work then bake and eat lunch then work ...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

Washing up 1 done, plus exercise. Have managed to tweak my right calf muscle whilst skipping. Grrr! I've tweaked it before when skipping. It's not at the start but after about 5 mins worth. And not every time either - even I would have notice a link there!
Finished another centre so now is the time to focus on completing paperwork.
Soup is made.
Will make cookies now so they can bake whilst I do paperwork.
Money-wise, I spent under £29 in aldee, which was very pleasing :T. That leaves me a nice amount for food next week! And any surplus can help nibble away at the mortgage. Just 8 more days til payday!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

Well done on the grocery spends, it's good when one good week helps to set another one up positively ... and even better when it means a cheeky MOP at the end of the month!
Re: face itching ... is nose itching a feature of your intolerances? I always know if there's something I should have steered clear of in what I'm eating because my nostrils itch horribly, almost immediately. I've never yet had a curry house curry when this hasn't happened!
Owch to the tweak ... skipping eh, sounds like a risk assessment might be needed! Seriously, hope it goes away soon, you don't want to be hobbling your way through half-term

Hmmm. Itchiness... Not my nose, Habi. Just my cheeks, and forehead, and side of face by eyes, and chin. Everywhere except my nose, in fact. Tho now it has realised it is missing out, I'm sure it'll participate 100%!
The tweak turns out to be 2 tweaks! Still the calf, but a side ab too. I was doing side bends and they looked easy so I used the sandbag - all 25lbs - of it! I'll not be doing ZWOW #7 again!
Most jobs got done, notable exceptions being sweep and hoover. But I did mow and then traipse some grass through the house, so that when I finally do sweep/hoover, then it'll really be worth it!
I was pondering today what I did with my time before I started this year's moderating malarky (which is in fact going quite well, if only the darned centres would follow instructions). Then I realised: knitting. Then I thought: what did I do with my time before I was doing this knitting malarky, which kind of coincided with me starting to work 4 days a week. The answer? I have no idea! But roll on finishing moderating (and the subsequent arrival of pennies) and more free time. Then roll on September with just 3 days of work.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Dd has finished school for half term; I have 1 more day. Today's been a really relaxing day! I've had a great time with my classes - they really are lovely youngsters.
Got ZWOW 16 done this morning at 6.30am - a little gingerly on the lunges and burpee jumps, but I'd chosen this one so as not to strain my calf too much.
And I was able to leave early and get the girls from school. I drove home from work in a thunderstorm, but thankfully it had passed over by pick up time. It was the sort of rain where it's pointless wearing a coat!
The knitting is slowly happening. I'll not finish 100 by the 27th, but I'm close! Thanks Hbbb for the inspiration to aim for this. My sister got me a lovely craft book for my bday that makes me want to start new projects! Ha ha!!
Maybe I should aim to finish moderating and clear the dining room table. Then clear my paperwork piles. Then finish knitting projects. And only then start new ones... And I have such a lovely lot of lavender to inspire me!
NSD count is coming along nicely - tho next week will be more testing...
Dh has said he'll take dd to dancing on Sat so I can go shoe shopping, and they'll meet up with me later. Exciting! I have an idea of what I want so am going with a very definite idea. I need to try on, then come home and see if Amaz0n have then, as I was given £40 vouchers for there for my bday.
Well, I've had a lazy time of it since collecting the girls. Washed up and made more mint fudge. It's all go here!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Ugg! In the 10 mins it took me to go and vote last night, dd - who I thought was asleep - had a meltdown and was inconsolable. I ended up going to bed at 9.30, which wasn't a bad thing. But I don't reckon any of us slept well!
Anyhow, dd has a training day so will be next door all day while I'm at work. Well, my body will be at work, but my brain will not quite make it!
Projects will recommence in June, giving me a week to finish other stuff.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
I actually got bored at work today! Pesky forward planning left me with little left to do! So I used the time to do a couple of mind maps. Not something I usually do, so I found it quite entertaining.
Did 1 for June and 1 for half term. On A3 paper with board pens. Turned out rather pretty, really, and have made for a nice focus for the break.
Calf muscle is being pesky again. It was feeling better this morming so I might just have rushed around a bit too much...
Nearly at the point with dd's jumper back where I decrease. Will follow instructions closely this time....NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
:j Yippee! Have just stitched up 4 lavender bags, taking the grand total ever nearer the 100 mark. Thanks Hbbb for making it possible. :jNST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

What a lazy day! And rather enjoyable too.
Went sandal-shopping on the bus while dh took dd to ballet. But it wasn't on today - obviously we didn't know til they got there! So my leisurely stroll around the shops had to increase its pace. Anynow, tried on loads of styles. Discarded most as being too flimsy, too dear, too uncomfortable.
My ideal pair is in Office, solillas, from Spain. I had a pair years ago - bought in Spain - and loved them but at £48, I'm not sure they're worth it. Anyhow, found a totally different style in m&s, similar to birkenstock, for a fraction of the price. Then got a 20% discount on them when the lovely lady in front of me gave me a voucher!
In true mse style, I've paid the saving off the mortgage!
So, sandal shopping was successful
Doing a workout hasn't happened - need to be resting my pesky calf and also really haven't had the inclination! That can wait.
Haven't done any moderating either. Oh well! Can't see it happening tomorrow either unless I get up early, as I'm on Kids Klub so out from 9ish til 1.30ish. I have time to postpone it and dither. But it would do me the world of good mentally to get it finished well within the time frame allowed.
Enough wittering. Am still secretly hoping I can get the mortgage down under 70k this payday... I live in cloud cuckoo land some times, but I like it there!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Dd got herself off to sleep happily last night, and I got 6 bits moderated. I sat down prepared to sort the paperwork , in order to do it today, but the temptation to start was too great! So that's less to do today, and I hope to finish that centre, along with the associated paperwork, today.
We were hoping to go to the Hundred Acre Wood tomorrow (free apart from fuel, totally uncommercialised, not even an ice cream van) but the forecast is dire!
Dh is off to church on the bus, as he's doing the PA. I have to wake dd very soon to get us ready too.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0
