Up to 4 NSDs thus far,and 6 (!) exercise sessions :j. Go me! I'm allocating the bunny slope workouts on a week-to-week basis, depending on which days are busy or not. And today I've done over 20,000 steps what with one thing or another.
Dd is crawling to the end of the half term, with a runny nose and feeling rather meh.
Big sis' latest email tells of mum repeatedly telling some friends, 'I am content here.' That is soooogood to hear.

Great idea! But I just looked at their website and it costs £33 for the 3 of us. Am I so out of touch that that seems an awful lot? Am I spoiled by Lunnon's free museums?NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

That's me on half term now - yay! It has felt like it has been a long time coming...
For a few days there was a vague possibility of an extra day's work next year, but that isn't going to happen now.
I was pleased to have timeto do bunny slope #15 before getting dd, a 15min AMRAP, and I did 4 rounds and 4 squats in the time. Also - important info alert - half of the push ups I did were full man ones, on my toes and not my knees. I am getting stronger.
I have been reading blogs by people who bought nowt new for a year. (excluding food, bills, underwear and a few other things. But one blogger still went out spending money but in coffee shops and meals out instead :rotfl:) Not very detailed blogs, mind, so not too onerous. They made me rootle back through my notes for 2018 and I too, have bought nothing new so far this year (apart from £2.50 on a children's newspaper for dd). All 39 days of it. Without even trying very hard. I am rockin' it.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

A good saturday has been had.
Dd opted out of dance - good move - and she and I mooched around some ch shops. She sent some of her pocket money and I spent nowt. Though we then went in to c0sta, as dd likes their babychino thingies and I paid with points.
The afternoin was divided between watching the rugby and playing a really noisy bagatelle game we rescued from my dad's last year. I have memories of playing it for hours.
We are off to brum tomorrow and still haven't decided what to do on Tues. The sci museum got a no (and we'll go to the FREE Lunnon one on fri instead). So did the sea life centre. We may well end up traipsing around Sutton Park! Or we could get an all-day bus ticket and go and look at all the places I lived or that had special meaning for me... I can see dh yawning already!
Did bunny slope #2 today. Took under 12 mins. Next month I may increase the weight on some of the workouts...
Swallowed a huge frog today. A toad, really. Am expecting repercussions. Sigh.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
So, here we are in bham. And a few hours ago, there was a right snowstorm going on outside. Took us back to my last visit here with dd when we were snowed in! But this time it didn't last long, nor settle for long.
Big sis is due here soonish, having left here yesterday morning to go and visit some friends deep into Kentshire. She figured that since she'd come as far south as bham, she might as well carry on. Daft! Anyhow, it'll be good to see her.
We had to spend £30 today. On a railcard. Cos I left ours at home. Only found out on train #1 when I went to put all the tickets + railcard together. Sigh. We worked it out and it was still cheaper by £20 to buy another one than to pay the full fare!
Dd found us 3 seats round a table on the train. Not sure how, as it was p a c k e d to the gunwales and 5 mins later, people were having to stand. Well done dd.
Ooh, another well done to dd for moving up a 'number gem'. She'd sat this test at least 4 times so we were very happy. I'm sure it has nothing whatsoever to do with a parents evening fast approaching...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0
