    2018 Plan 1: from 31/12 - 25/3 (12 weeks)

    Health:
    -eat veg - sort of
-eat fish x2 per week - helped by having tuna mayo on my free meal at work + hm fish and chips on a fri
-lose 15 lbs - only down 1 so far, though logging food and stats
-gain muscle - slowly increasing the % (0.2% this time!)
-Jan: do all 20 bunny slope workouts - think I have done 16 of them plus a few days of 15,000+ steps
-Jan: 310,000 steps (only 10k per day) over 361,000

    Wealth:
-sort out my giving to my chosen priorities -nope
-start to sell stuff from parental properties - have done a little research into where to sell coins/stamps locally
-pay off 350pcm from the mortgage, so approx 1050 in this plan - ongoing. A little scuppered by losing 1400 in the Oz stuff
    - food spends of 300 pcm - yep, under
-get paperwork sorted to sell mum's house - ongoing

    A life well lived:
-headspace and counselling to continue - yep
-enjoy time with dd + dh - yep, even if it is simply looking after dd
-use up wool and fabric stashes - working on it - nowt new added
-remove 2018items this year, so about 700 this plan -gosh, very slow going, seem to have no ooph for this
-buy a joyous address book and fill it in (finding mum's has been so useful to us, as we are aware of names of her friends but no more than that. I don't want to leave others ithout that info for me) still looking. I did buy some ch shop gorgeous notebooks though for my ongoing month-by-month notes
-balance work, visits to mum, family time, fitness goals - getting there

    That'll do for now!

On balance, I think that Jan has been 'a good month' all round.

Dh did his tax return and will be getting a rebate as he has not earned enough to pay any tax. We are chatting more about money, which is useful. Outside of necessities, Jan has been a lower spend month on food - though there are still 3 days left...

About £17.50 in the ch shops.

I am very happy with the exercise progress I have made. I know that I started doing the workouts in Dec, but doing them again this month, I have done them quicker/harder/better. And I can see progress.

Logging all food is interesting, to say the least. I know my body responds best to low-carb and higher fat and protein. And the logging of stuff shows why the weight is still there. I have lost 1lb weight, 0.4% fat and gained 0.2% muscle and my BMI is down 0.3%. Still a way to go, but it is like I have slowed down the tanker and am starting to turn it around.

My dear mum is hearing voices almost constantly now. And they are not always saying nice things. She is very vulnerable.

And V1rg1n trains have delay-repayed us too - another £117. I'm going to pay that one off the mortgage (shhh, don't tell dh!)

Managed to spend £40 in Sainz today. Yikes. I got to £33 with the list and had a 5x points on over £40, so just doubled a couple of items that we'll use anyway. Pesky till didn't spit out any more coupons or vouchers though, the grumpy thing.

However, I did find gf/df choc eclairs for dd to try. I can make choux pastry (or used to be able to anyway) but have yet to come across df cream to fill the middle.

Saw a very good friend this afternoon and set the world to rights. Sort of. Always a useful thing to do.

Rather perturbed by stories of people's diaries being targetted and then removed from here. I did go and check mine was still loitering, phew.

Frozen broccoli. Not a fan. I do buy it every so often to give it another go. Not sure why! But even dh mentioned today that he prefers the fresh stuff. So I made broccoli gloop/potage/thick soup. Yum!

Did bunny slope 19 today. I probably won't get one done tomorrow, so then I hit feb and will try for all 20 workouts in 28 days. Haven't managed it in 2 months with 31 days each, so it'll need some effort!

Well the tax people seem to have been sensible. Not only has dh received his rebate for 16/17, but in his latest pay slip they have repaid his 17/18 tax thus far, obviously realising that he ain't gonna earn enough to pay tax again.

    Result.

    Started feb with an NSD.

Did a small sainz shop today and got a spit for 500 points, giving us £2.50 . Quite happy.

Did bunny slope 20 - it is a very tough one! 3 rounds took me 24 minutes and left my legs feeling like jelly.

I've made myself an eye appt and a nurse appt, and an eye appt for dd.

I've contacted someone who may want a tutor for her dd.

A bagful is ready for the Sally Army which I plan to take tomorrow.

Dd has a friend coming home from sch with her before they head back for the sch disco. She was soooo excited about it this morning!

Off to hang up the washing then sew up some HKitties and minions.

Another NSD despite going into 3 ch shops with dd. Phew.

Did an easy workout - bunny slope 3.

    Watched 2 cracking rugby matches.

Tutoring is not required. HKitties and minions not sewn, poor things.

Dd had an awesome time at the disco - phew.

When we next go to bham, at half term, we're going to stay an extra day and go and 'do something'. Other than trawl around the ch shops, which must be our most regular activity! I don't view the city as a touristy place at all, so need to do some research. Dh suggested going to the Bullring (heck, no!) And I said I'd prefer going to the rag market (and then had to explain what it is). But I reckon we'd all prefer keeping out of the shops completely.

Maybe a trek around Sutton Park followed by hot choc in a hot choc shop? I like the idea of trying to get to all 7 pools in one go, but think it may be impossibly far...
