    Challenge on :)
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

Indeedy :D. Except it all has to come from my salary, and this year's commitments take out about 4 months of dh's earning potential...

Up to newcastle this morning in the s n o w! Another 3 inches here. Had a great time, catching up with a good friend + her kiddies over from España.

Then dd and I did the durham ch shops. Got a good haul :D. I got a pair of work trousers for £1 and jeans for £2. Dd acquired far too many books, a doll, some blingy sparkly shoes for her party, a tee shirt. Bargainaceous.

New jeans required as mine are on the point of ripping in a spot where you cannot hide nor mend it. Sigh.

    We go home tomorrow :j.

I have written the NST January challenge. And I have my own one for the month too.

  • Jeans for £2? That is brilliant. Well done you!
  • Back home once again. All travelling is done for the year. Church tomorow is at a sister church, and too far away so we ain't goin'!

We must have been on the warmest v1rg1n train ever today. We usually have to travel with our coats on but today we were so drowsy by the end of the journey.

And my £2 jeans were so comfy to wear and travel in. A good buy.

Dd is now planning her party - in 2 weeks, so it currently feels a long way away. But I am back to work on the 2nd, so I know it'll fly by.

Best get a move on with my next Plan...

  • 2018 Plan 1: from 31/12 - 25/3 (12 weeks)

    Health:
    -eat veg
    -eat fish x2 per week
    -lose 15 lbs
    -gain muscle
-Jan: do all 20 bunny slope workouts
-Jan: 310,000 steps (only 10k per day)

    Wealth:
-sort out my giving to my chosen priorities
-start to sell stuff from parental properties
-pay off 350pcm from the mortgage, so approx 1050 in this plan
    - food spends of 300 pcm
-get paperwork sorted to sell mum's house

    A life well lived:
    -headspace and counselling to continue
-enjoy time with dd + dh
-use up wool and fabric stashes
-remove 2018items this year, so about 700 this plan
-buy a joyous address book and fill it in (finding mum's has been so useful to us, as we are aware of names of her friends but no more than that. I don't want to leave others ithout that info for me)
-balance work, visits to mum, family time, fitness goals

    That'll do for now!

We watched The Croods this morning. It made me cry!:D Really enjoyed the film.

    Bunny slope 19 done.

Scales have been stood on and all sorts of measurements measured.

Some tidying has been achieved . Unheard of! But dd wants a crafting party which will require table and floor space. And we really should have Cmas cleared away too.

Dd is making an owl - a crafting cmas present - and has agreed that it can be something the gaggle of party girls can make. We'll have to have pre-cut plenty of parts so as to be able to get on with is as quickly as a gaggle of girls allows. But we already have in a big assortment of fabric, felt and buttons, plus enough needles and thread. Free :T.

Tomorrow, I really must do some school work...

Gosh but I slept badly last night. Woke up (by outside noises, I think) at 1.30 and didn't get properly to sleep again until 4ish. I guess I dozed, as I was trying the 'lie very still' approach, but not much. And dd was coughing too.

Anyhow, woke properly at 8.15 and got straight up to do a proper warm up and bunny slope 1.

All food has been weighed and logged on fitbit website.

Dd and I walked about 3 miles - in steadily increasing rain, without umbrellas - to hand deliver a thank you letter. On our way back, I texted dh to ask him to come and meet us with some brollies, so we did have 10 mins of sheltered walking. It was worth the effort, despite getting cold and wet.

I have cut out nearly 100 pieces for owls for dd's party.

Tomorrow will be a shock to the system as I have to get up and go to work! And again the next day. And the next...
