Getting ready for dd's party on Sat - it all seems to be going to plan...
Am up to Bunny Slope workout #6 so far this month. I am aiming to get through all 20 of them, and do them well. I did most of them in December and this time through I am going at it a bit harder.
A handful of us at work have weighed in. The numbers are being kept under lock and key and we'll all weigh in again on the last day of term. The 'winner' is the one who has lost the biggest %. No money is involved, just kudos.
I aim to continue to log what I consume on the fitb1t site, as it works for me and I know how to do it (!), to continue with the walking I do to and from work, to continue with the Bunny Slope (or BS for short!) workouts. And that is January's plan.
I still cannot run - pesky knee. Weight loss must surely improve it...
I do not want to be the 'fat' one at the wedding in the summer...:o
DH is on the verge of buying our flights out to Oz, and insurance.:j He agrees that it is okay for me to still pay down the mortgage, especially given that the offset has just been reduced by over £3K... So we're going to have to pay more interest now. Humph. I have some expenses to claim and he needs to do his tax return.
Sitting here in the gloomy half-light, not needing to go and get dd for another 20 mins, I am enjoying the fairy lights we still have up. They add such a warmth and cosiness to the room.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

Another week of work is finished.
Am very pleased to have found some cushions in a ch shop this morning (3 for £1.50) as we had no stuffing to stuff the owls on sat. Yikes. I also picked up some designafriend doll clothes for 50p each - result.
I feel ready for dd's party on sat, so long as I remember to make her cake tomorrow...
Plenty of steps again today - over 17k.
Tomorrow requires a workout, baking, wrapping, cards, tidying an possibly - gulp - hoovering...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

Dd likes her cake so far. I forgot to make the icing pink, so have had to do another thin pink layer on top. oops. And she wants a teddy bear design, which she is drawing for me, but has currently put on hold as she paints over the face of a toy pumpkin. As you do.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
