My children are also exhausted. Watched ds1 during the nativity and he looked so pale and tired I just wanted to grab him and take him home!

Hope the dentistry goes well x

I was counting up the money donated by staff at my school for the Saly Army cmas appeal, and dd went and got her money box and gave me £3 of her own money. She is lovely.

80 mins until I need to leave for the dentist...

Am keeping the tooth for now - not letting a pesky fairy have it! And certainly not for a measly £1...

Did 2 bunny slope workouts this morning - 10 + 11. They are getting tougher. And I'm feeling a LOT better than yestetday. About 10 hous of sleep helped greatly...

Forgot to mention that we almost walked into the path of a car the other night. Three lanes to cross to the middle. Pelican crossing. Night. Dd says, 'it's red for the cars; it's green for us now.' So all 3 of us step out. Then I notice that the car in the inside lane is NOT slowing at all (40 mph limit) and pull us all back. Dh is singularly unimpressed and a tad cross. But, the bit to smile about (as well as being alive) is that the only other vehicle at the crossing is a POLICE VAN. Who promptly puts on the flashers and stops the car. Yay! So we were not needed and crossed the road in safety. Dd learned about arenaline rushes and that walking is a good way to move the adrenaline on.

So glad you were all ok, sounds scary. I didn’t know that about adrenaline shifting with a walk. Handy to know for work. Hope your tooth area is much better. Didn’t want to say hole!

We had to carry on walking anyway, to get home, and partway home dd said that her legs weren't wobbly anymore . Adrenaline is the fight-or-flight response and I thought it could be calmed down by any sort of movement. Whether I'm right or not, it worked for her!

Feel free to mention the hole! It's a top tooth that's gone, the one next to my middle teeth. It'll take a while to heal, but will heal in time.
