It is Sunday morning and dh is off to church to do ... PA. Dd and I are staying home.
I am much much better. It always amazes me, the body's restorative power. And I shall try eating today... Coffee, dioralyte and water cannot continue being enough.
All 3 of us were in bed by 8pm last night, and I pretty much slept through until 5, then carried on dozing. Following the previous night's get-up rate of 16, that's a welcome changeNST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Have been prepping a little for the fair - just under 2 weeks to go. The good news is that it looks like I won't need to get there on the bus (eek!) as dh and dd will drop me off and maybe stay to help me set up before they go to dd's dance exams.
I've over 100 felt mice - squeak squeak!
I've also worked out the prices and made the price list sheet. It's a very simple one: bunnies £x, bunny pairs £x, mice £x or 4 for £x, lavender bags £x.
Just need to come up with a little card thingy to give with sales.
Suddenly realised dd has a party to orrow and have therefore made those cookies and some fairy cakes. My cakes do not always work well but being slathered in icing makes them go down a treat.
We do have the presents for the party, one being a teeshirt we ironed a frozen transfer on to, and which we'll use to wrap the other bits and tie with some ribbon.
Timer's gone. Best get the buns out...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Hello you
Sorry to hear you've been poorly. Just a quick check, have you been taking magnesium supplements and had an epsom salt bath? I only ask as that set my tummy off once and it all went down. Only the once, after 36 hours I was right as rain again.
Amazing sewing skills.. over 100 mice! They look awesome too. I think they will sell a treat! Which reminds me. Must reply to PM  - so sorry!!
Big hugs lady. Thanks for all your support on my diary. I knows you're always there! xxx

100 mice! :T :T
Glad to hear you're feeling more chipper, I was out of sorts the last few days too, so nice to get back to normality! :ja penny picker upper. Thanks lovely ones!
Am weirdly off food, apart from proteiny stuff. Sure it won't last... but yesterday's tea was chicken chopped up small and fried super fast with almonds thrown in at the end and a splash of tamari sauce. And that was all. Dh accompanied his with baked beans :rotfl:
Lilt - nope, am not having any supplements, but did have an epsom bath. Can't blame that as the bug was doing the rounds in our household.
Tis a wet break here - feeling mega guilty as I sent dd in with only a thin light pacamac thingy... Best go teach...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Fancied mushroom omelette for tea. Mushrooms were about the only veg we didn't have in! Sub stituted with frankfurters from aldee. Spent from 00.59 until 02.54(or thereabouts) with one very unhappy tummy. Took 5 rennie in total and plenty of water. Not impressed!

It has been rather a relaxing day. Plenty of walking, plenty of buses. Even a small workout and then scootering to and from the dentist with dd. Who knew scootering was such hard work, eh?
I've also cut out another bunny pair to make for a friend and seen a little tennis.
Mus Mag have finally bothered to pay up so that has gone off the mortgage, as has the Ch Ben. Would like to say I'll keep a running total of the extras paid off, but I know I'll not sustain that, and the mortgage is online so I can peruse it daily if I wish anyway.Every extra £1100 = 1 month less.
We are trying to work out the logistics of the summer hols: appointments all round, dd and me away, dd wants to go and do the Bible School my mum's church runs up in Bham, she'd also like to do a football academy, and dh want to go to an airshow. We'd like to get away all together for a week too ...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Sounds like you've got a busy summer planned Apple!
When is your 'bunny fayre' again? Hope it goes well for you, I'm sure it will.
Great guns on the mortgage too, really can't wait until I get to the point where I can overpay on mine. I've gone from being mortgage free 3 years ago, to a joint £60K mortgage to - now - a single £101K mortgage  still, no point dwelling on it, it is what it is. I'll be having a mini party when it gets into the £99Ks! :rotfl:
Have a good day lovely
