Kids Klub all done and dusted - only 28 kids today; usually there are over 40 when I'm on!

Dd has been wearing my fitbit today, so if she does a lot of steps, then I'm claiming it!!!!

Dh stayed home and chilled - much needed. He has also sorted out his 2 bikes and put them in the garage, and cleared away a tarpaulin thingy he had put up to shelter said bikes under the kitchen window. All this with a view to making the fence accessible for 'them' to replace. Yay!

Dd went out the back to play an hour ago... may see her sometime soon...

And I'm pottering on with bunnies - already fed up with having a gazillion left to make as I cut out sooooooooooo many ears and arms!!!!! So am having a little break and an mse mooch.

I have endeavoured to reduce the amount of clunking and thunking that the sewing machine has taken to doing. Yep, got the manual, turned to the trouble-shooting page, and away we went! Took it apart, reassembled it, and it thunked less for about 1 min. Hmmm. Stitch tension? A change meant aslight reduction in decibel levels... So after umpteen limbs, I've stopped for now.

Tis mostly serene here: dh is watching the hobbit thingy, dd is still having bedtime howls most evenings - over a different theme/event each time, and I'm sat here waiting for her to settle...

July planning is slowly shaping up. Have printed out last year's Jiggle free July sheet - dd and I go away on the 18th for about 10 days, and that can be done anywhere. Also wish to do a certain men's fitness workout 15 times before we go away (gulp!). Doing it with a 3k weight is the warm up, then at least 2 rounds with a heavier weight and a final 3k round to cool plus stretching (lonnnnng gone are the days when I can get away without stretching!)

Spending needs saving up for when on holibobs. Good weather means plenty of time on the bouncy castles (flat rate for the whole day, come and go as much as you please) or the beach. And this year I want us to explore more. Wet weather...hmmm...don't really want to think about that!

Only 2 more weeks of work, or just 6 days for me. I break up a week before dd but her sports day, a governor meeting and a museum trip have already taken up 2 of those days!

Made fat bombs a la Lilty yesterday, but 'adapted' the recipe. NOT a good move to add peppermint flavouring, as I'd forgotten I'd used peanut butter instead of cashew (and prob still not a good odea with the cashew butter either!)... However, i shall eat them...

A good and satisfying day at work, some sorting, binning, tidying also done there, as well as teaching.

Once home, I was required to locate the paddling pool. Dd inflated it and just 7 buckets of water was enough for her + friend to have loads of fun. She is back out in it now in a dress over her cossie, in the shade, 3/4 wet having a whale of a time!

2 stars and stripes bunnies finished. 6 more to go....

Fat bombs are fab in a pinch. I don't know if you have pinterest but I have amassed a vast collection of fat bomb recipes there! Strawberry cheesecake flavour etc. I have a problem in that I cannot stand sweetener though. It really doesn't do me any favours, so I need to cut that out of whatever ons I make next. Also be aware that they melt within half an hour of being taken anywhere

Sounds like DD is loving this weather. Jelly opted for meltdown mode instead after scooting from nursery to the park, enjoying 40 minutes there and then halfway back the drama struck.

I've found a FAB way to eat low carb, low GI, with plenty of fat and vitamins! Mr L (and countless other places) do a Milled linseed, with sunflower, pumpkin seeds, goji berries and chia seed in it... 30g has 2g sugars and normal folk would have with yoghurt but I opted for 60ml of double cream. it worked perfectly. not to wet or too dry, but fat ball style! :D it is like breakfast cereal.

    Big hugs xx

    Sounds yummy!

By the way, I made my fat bombs with no sweetener at all - couldn't see the need! As one who has been known to eat butter with a spoon, and possibly coconut oil too, maybe, perhaps, and also peanut butter (only used as had no other nut butters), even though the end result was a tad weird, it's still perfectly sweet enough.

However, my carbs are often not low enough to partake of fat bombs v often!

Put mine in the fridge - they're ina silicone ice cube thingy that's long fingers, so Ijust cut bits out with a small butter knife. And yep, they'd not last long, certainlyin this weather, without melting!

Off to bed. Dd is snoring like her daddy... So ladylike...

Last day of June and it is set to be a scorcher.

Should also be another NSD, making 18 this month. Have I ever managed 20? Not sure. The July challenge also has 20 so at least I'll get another go at it...but with going away for up to 10 days, it could be tricky...

    Off to wake dd...

Not an NSD as needed fuel. Dh went out last night and somehow used it all up! Says he only went to a friend's house just over 3 miles away.... hmmmm.

Anyhow. Started the day with a parking ticket from the private company that prowl through our estate. It was attached to the windscreen just above the permit displayed there. And the car was parked in front of our garage. Plonkers.

Then, by 8.30, I had lost my fitbit. I was bereft, running around work re-visiting where I had already been. I 'fessed up to dh and he sent me a poster to display (must have been having a boring day at work!). Within 10 mins of sticking it on my classroom door, one of the girsl declared 'X has that Miss'. X was duly found and I claim his steps as my own!!!

Meeting after school about PRP and then home to the paddling pool. Bliss.

Tomorrow's a day off and set to be sweltering so I may just use the pool myself...

    I did it!

Workout 1: 3k, 5k, 8k, 3k. And then Jiggle free July day 1. Even with the back door and window open, I was a sweaty mess! But there is a sense of achievement in getting it done.
