Oh no you don't Al! Several offspring; ponyplops; puppylove; dh; work; applying for jobs; house selling; blog setting up. Respect!! (apple puts her fist in a punching position for Al to copy and tap knuckles like the 'really cool kids' do)

Just done a very rough LTV on what I think the house might fetch and I reckon we own 78% of it...

22% to go... 43 months (or is it 42 now?) means we pay off 0.5% each month.

However, we have just spent 30 mins trying to stop the outside tap running water down the wall. No joy. But my heath-robinson 2 pieces of string knotted round the pipe and trailing down i to the watering can which can then overflow and the water will go down the drain may save the wall...

'why not turn the water off?' I hear you cry. Tried that. The screw thingy won't shift. And as it is running off the kitchen, the internal stopcock (which dh has informed me also leaks) won't help. Best go find the outside one then... Or just let the string do its thing overnight and ask plumber neighbour for help tomorrow.

So I envisage us having to pay out...

All the more reason to rack up those NSDs so dd and I can eat whilst away at the end of the month!

Workout 3 done (bodyweight, 2x 3k) plus Jiggle free day 3. All in 12 mins with door and windows wide open and still sweat-inducing.

Dh has the day off and is going into the local town for a mooch. Am letting him go alone as I don't feel like the shops. I shall walk (not bike!) up to the bank and put a couple of cheques in and then get float for TOMORROW'S SUMMER FAIR! It is finally here... Aha - best finish those last 2 bunnies.

Then I may tackle the under-the-stairs cupboard of doom. Or half of it, as the other half is dh's gubbins...and the air would go blue if I put something back in the wrong place...!

Cheques paid in, float acquired. Nice walk had. Last 2 bunnies sorted and all stuff (except food) piled in entrance. Floor swept. Cupboard of doom emptied and hoovered and dusted. V little for the ch shop, fr33gle or tip so it will soon need returning to the shelves...

Hooray for tomorrow!!!! You'll never want to see another bunny again!!! ;)

I have a question. Do you think working out every day helps or hinders you? I ask because primal blueprint states 3x strength workouts a week and as much walking as you like. Well I've been walking about 45 miles a week every week, so thats not a problem, and doing the strength training but feel like I am not pushing myself hard enough. the next day I don't feel anything at all despite being pushed to my limits of an evening by what feels like 'tiny puny human' strength and weight training. And by the following afternoon I start to get a delayed reaction, achey triceps etc. But my legs really aren't getting any benefit. I know they say you shouldn't feel pain.. but then how do you know if it is working if you don't even feel like you've pushed yourself?!?!

Darn it at the cupboard of doom not being emptied. I've got one of those cupboards. My Monica cupboard I call it.

Dinner is salmon fillet with lashings of butter, cauliflower mash with cream, and asparagus. Mmmmm

Hugs lady. Wish I could be there tomorrow!! xxx

Have a look at the Zuzka Light stuff - on utube and the book of face and her own website. She does all sorts from bodyweight to heavyweight, and the intensity is joyful! It will be hard, and you will be a mass of quivering jelly on the floor. My pesky calf stopped me doing her zshred hence my shiftto a MensFitness one that I liked and that didn't rrquire a whole gym of equipment.

I do love doing workouts frequently - mostly because they are so intense that they are over with inside of 20 min at the absolute max, but usually 12.

As regards primal blueprint man, he regards many activities as play, not workouts, I think. And he's an oldie! Do do plenty of stretching to cool down.

Persevere with your efforts - it's the con sistency that counts. I often set up a plan (between 6-12 weeks), but allow 'off' weeks too.

Hope that makes some sort of sense...

On another note, I've found a week's worth of keto meals in a fitnessrx mag so am contemplating using that. It does do more carbs than yours but seems doable. Now I just need dh to go away for a couple of weeks...

What a cracking thunderstorm - or two - we had in the night! The super duper mega loud one didn't wake dd at all! T'other one did but she just snuggled back down when I told her what it was.

Fair day! My thoughts turn to Habibiboo and all the encouragement and challenge she gave me 18 months ago. Without her, I wouldn't be where I am now, doing this. I'm glad I thought to pack up the bunnies in stacker boxes as although it originally seemed daft, given the recent heatwave, last night's downpour has shown how clever my thinking was. Go me!

Le Tour starts today, highlights every evening at 7pm on itv4. :D

Wimbledon continues - bet it'll be a tad greasy on the courts today!

Am enjoying the peace before the whirlwind. Tis more dd and dh than me, but tis I who has got all dd's stuff ready (3 different outfits for 2 dance exams + cheerleading display) and done her lunch bag. Now I need to do my own food and we're sorted. Dd wants to help me set up the stall so we shall aim to leave here by 9..

  • Good luck with the sale. I was only thinking of Habibiboo the other day. I saw some glorious roses against a pergola - deep yellow.

I was sitting with my mum at 2am as the storm woke her up and we were having a fine old chat :)

Hope the day goes well. Tilly x x
