Apple muncher's number crunching

Cheerleading - done.
Aldee shop - done. Walked both ways as just missed a bus and the traffic that way was v slow anyway.
Had an hour at home, so hung out the washinga nd made another coffee or two...
Walked up to the doc. Collected dh's presc and got doc to sign it, got my 'official coeliac' date, got dd's date too and also got 2 items added to her repeat prescription list. Result.
Caught the bus to liddle - a 3 mile journey so not walking it! - and got 4 kilo bags of rice.
Caught the bus almost home and went to the chemist with dh's presc but as I didn't know which of the 3 items was the new one, then I couldn't leave it there. However, dd's presc bits had come in - yay! So I lugged them all home.
And the pack of 15 felt pieces has arrived and I am happy!
Lunch has been munched, startrek (the original, digitally remastered, no less) is on, and the tennis starts soon.
Having realised that to pay off the mortgage by my choice of date 'only' requires an extra £4400, I think I shall have to start a chart to tally up the extras...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Yay a chart! Do it :T
I've been meaning to start on our Star Trek box set, sounds like a good way to spend the time between tennis matchesI shall suggest it to my other half (maybe he won't get so annoyed with me having the tennis on all the time if he gets a ST fix inbetween :rotfl:)
a penny picker upper. MFW approx 78% to go | FIRE 3 years worth (30% savings rate: now aiming for 40%!) | Normality is a paved road; it's comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow on it | Whatever you're meant to do, do it now. The conditions are always impossible | The only thing you absolutely have to know, is the location of the library0 -
My goodness me, what a lot done since I last checked in!! Well done you on the school trip going well, even though the shuttle was rubbish. You passed within a couple of miles of me!!
did you wave? :rotfl:
Yay for the mortgage chart! £4400 sounds doable, but don't break yourself doing it! Just aim for it
Bless DH. Hope the salts helped. They really really help me no end! I may have a sneaky bath in the morning for their other soothing help... making my legs look a might skinnier helping me to lose some of the bloating!!
I've gotten into Pinterest lady. there are some mad workouts you would love on there!!
Lots of love. Sleep tight xxx

Of course I waved to you Lilty!!!!
I do like my idea of a chart, but know that I'd lose the piece of paper! AM such a messy muppet it would end up in a 'pile' somewhere. The running total for my MFW target in my sig will suffice for now. I've tried charts and colouring in a couple of times and it doesn't 'do' anything for me!
Anyhoo, work today. Some teaching is required, a meeting with the deputy head and a naughty boy from Tuesday is required, and writing in around 45 'leaver's books' is required. But after today, just 9 more working days until we break up - yay!
Dd has a bit of a poorly tum at the mo and is struggling. She made it through yesterday, mainly because she had a little friend coming back after school and that wouldn't happen if she had to come home poorly.
Both she and dh had a bath in epsom salts last night. Dd first, so she got all the goodness and left dh the dregs!!!
Off to make breakfast and head for work xxNST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Today has been a day that 'got things done'. All y11 leavers books written in; thank you gifts handed out; monies reconciled and given to bursar; classes taught; book scrutiny paperwork done; certificates printed; written piece re trip done by collating comments from pupils; first aid kit returned; 15 mins with deputy head done... And so on.
Got told by the head that my risk assessments were the best she's read at my school. Chuffed, am I.
Also done a governor's meeting at dd's school. And approx 11k steps. And the washing up.
Dd's tum seems to be on the mend...phew!
Off to have a mooch. And soon to bed, I hope...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Notes for me:
how to reach 4400:
in the rest of 2015:
82 pcm ch benefit x7
89 pcm that my salary is over a nice round figure x7
'usual' amount left each month x3
extra earned when days increase to cover maternity leave x3
= £3k ish.
Wow!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
My skin hurts. All over. My tum keeps joining in too. Grrr.
Did have a super industrious morning then flagged from 12ish onwards.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Will spare the details but it was my turn for the tummybug. Was up throughout the night, but thankfully not sick - it all went downwards!
Dh is doing PA - no change there - for the band at the 'street party' event thingy by church, so he'll be gone for most of the day.
Dd has her dance classes this morning but has forsworn going to the event which suits me as I'm extremely weary. Tho my skin hurts sooooo much less.
Anyhow, enough of the 'poor me' attitude.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Hope you are feeling better Apple. I do like a mid year plan, amazing how goals can be achieved through careful planning.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0

Thank you CathT, I hope it helps to focus me. Have realised that I need to buy mine and dd's train tickets for next month - over £100. Gulp.
We managed the dance classes without incident and I've been dozing on the sofa since. Dd's been out the 'back of the back' (ie the green between the houses behind our garden) and has occasionally popped back, so I know she's ok. Am feeling a negligent mummy, falling asleep!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0
