Well done Al. Mine was much less than yours - about £575 - pre-tax, of course! Half of my 10 centres had mismarked. And 2 were seriously wrong, with a recommendation they read the manual!!! Goodness knows how it 'll be in a few years when the new exam kicks in...

Washing exploits yesterday: all is now dry but the basket is still overflowing... Need to do a whites wash, including the 2 sheets I bought yesterday for bunnies, but the weather doesn't look v helpful so I'll have to clear away the laundry-filled house first...

    Today:
    - dance classes
    - whites wash
    - put all dry washing away
    - cut out more bunnies
    - prepare lunches for the week
    - maybe make some mice while dd dances...

Yep, the admin truly is pants. And even ,oreso when the centre messes up. Only being paidper candidate re-marked means that the pph dips sooooo low!

If there was a £5 fee for each mod/cen/admin sent, we would have them in shape...just in time for controlled assessments to be discontinued.

    - prepare lunches for the week

What a pottering day! Dh is not feeling well and has spent a lot of it in bed, poor thing. I've ironed the bunny bits I cut out, plus 5 shirts/blouses that have been hanging around. Washing has been hung up inside, but the washing machine is playing silly millies on a 40 degree wash. We'll have to try re-setting it again, but until then, I can do the 30 degree wash instead.

Dd has had a great time playing out front. Happy child = happy mummy.

Still staying grain and sugar free. Tomorrow is weigh in day...

Hey you!! You have done amazingly well on the sugar/grain free!! :D are you keeping track of carbs eaten by way of fruit/veggies out of interest? It is quite crazy how it adds up into sugars/fibre when I enter it into MFP. Trying to stay under 20g carb and 15g sugars for the carbs is madness although if I manage to stay under 20 I am normally way under the 15g :)

Well done to DD on sleeping in her own bed. Fab news, and shows her confidence is growing in leaps and bounds. Especially with going outside to play. :) bless her!

My weigh in day is Tuesday and I am trying to be very very good until then because I really want to look *different* when my parents come down. Is that silly?

By the way I asked a work colleague who also deals with the physio and he said to go ahead and not mention that I work for my company or that I know her and it will be fine. Sometimes things overlap!

    Big hugs! xxx

    Hiya Lilty,

Am not keeping track of the carbs/sugar thing at all! I aim to just avoid fruit completely, though I do take an apple to work. I'd like to say I eat 10 veg a day, but only sometimes is it doable. Funny how carrots, toms, sw tato all taste sugary when you avoid the white stuff.

Today I have had sultanas, apricots and cranberries. And boy do I feel bloated up. I made myself a version of 'clean' pancakes: 2 eggs, 100g ish cottage cheese, vanilla essence, 3 heaped tsp coconut flour (scales are currently broken so it is all guesswork!). All zapped up and then fried. I cooked the apricot and cran in butter till scrummy and mixed with cream and cream cheese. And served with the pancakes. Filling but also bloating!

This is the first day in a week that I've had so much fruit and my body isn't grateful! I'll be sticking to veg.

Lilt, I totally get the motivation thing, to want your parents to notice a big change. Go girl!

I am so regretting folding the futon back up into its sofa position and washing all the bed linen for it. Dh has been sick and is rather sweaty and smelly. And I would much prefer NOT to share his bed... So, do I 1) attempt to sleep on the sofa which isn't long enough; 2) bring up an exercise mat and quietly get some covers and sleep on it on the floor of the spare room or 3) put the futon back down without the usual crashes and thumps and sleep there... There's not a lot a space for manoeuvring, plus an airer of clothes to negotiate too...

I think the futon wins. Still got 30 mins until my bedtime to sort it out.

Futon has won. Dh did offer to sleep here but I told him to go back to bed and get some sleep. He has been all sweaty and poorly in that bed. I do not want to use it! Ha ha. Do I sound callous??!

Hahaha!! I am laughing at you - I totally get the sweaty grotty bed thing. When I was Jellytots sweaty grotty bed, the first thing I did was strip us both down, shower both of us and get into clean clothes, and then stripped the bed as soon as I got back from dropping her at nursery. The BT man turned up and I was so grateful I had opened the windows so wide to get rid of that fusty smell! He still thought I was a bit bonkers, vacuuming around him, getting the mop and bucket out, scrubbing the bathroom down :rotfl: - had to explain it was my *day* to do the stuff and he wasn't getting in the way of it, the end! Lol.

About the veggies... I've been restricting mine to mainly green stuff but started mixing in some stir fries which obviously opens me up to more. It is still low carb but I think that helped to stall my weight loss. Today I had a broccoli & cauliflower creamy cheese bake with salmon, and mushrooms with my omelette but that was it apart from the incidental jalapeños with my popper. Glad I don't seem crazy ref mum and dad. I was steadily putting on more and more weight every time they saw me. I'd like them to see it going in the opposite direction!! :D it keeps pushing me on although I've eaten too much dark chocolate today. xxx
