Loopychriss neither do I :rotfl:. I'm probably going to make more cushion covers to put in some of our empty bedrooms just to make them look a wee bit more lived in for if and when we ever get around to puting the house on the market.

    Hi all,

Loving the dog coats even if the dogs themselves don't seem to be :)

Well I still have not actually made anything else yet but I did manage to go through 5 more magazines from the shed so the stash is slowly going down :)

Have got to make a sorry you are leaving card today though and a sympathy card so should be able to report two more for my total later on :)

  • Yay, a bit more stash busting done today: I've had a 'pricking' day. I have pricked out 7 more thank you cards, and 8 more for the Orders of Service. Each one involves pushing a needle through a metal template onto card, and has 970 holes! So I've made 15 x 970 holes today... no wonder my arm is aching! That's my lot for today, think I've excelled myself, I've never done 15 in a day before!!

Going to watch Call the Midwife now... and chill.

    How's everyone else doing?

Another kit used. One I got free in a magazine for my niece.

Now on to doing some Mother's Day cards, unfortunately not kits but using up stuff I have had for years and felt it was 'too good' to use.

Also planning to do a notebook for OH mum which is a kit so hopefully another one gone by the end of Feb.

Brilliant progress by lots of you - well done :)

emslovemickey - loving the mugs - Mrs Doutfire looks pretty amazing for someone who can't draw - if you saw my drawing skills you would know you are right up there with the best :) And the cross stitch is amazing :)

loopychris - 15 in one day - fantastic - you go girl :)

MaisieM - beautiful cross stitch - I love that character range :) Well done on realising that nothing is "too good" to use. It took me ages to realise that and even now I sometimes slip back into the "I'll save for a special item" mode :) Can't wait to see you makes :)

As for me well I managed to get 4 cards made yesterday - leaving card for sons teacher, sympathy card for friend and two valentines cards (1 for hubby and 1 for parents). Hoping to get kids valentines cards made today so should be able to report a couple more for total later :)

Keep up the great stash busting work team :)

  • I've managed to get a few things done over the last couple of weeks since I last posted. I've made a scarf, a birthday card, a Valentine's card and made a book cover using ribbons and Vilene. I've also completed a stained glass patchwork that I started 17 years ago! So that's a total of 6 things completed so far.

I have also been having a good sort out of my stash so I can now find things that I know I have got! In the process, I have found several unfinished projects that I will endeavour to finish.

I'll post some pictures when I find out how to do it!

Thank you everyone for your inspiration!:)

Thanks crafting mad - my little brother is the talented artist in our family. I was pleasantly surprised with that one.

The mugs are brilliant, I can barely draw a straight line. Years and years ago my oh knew the real Mrs. Doubtfire, he was a police officer and his beat took in her shop he said she was a right character http://www.doubtfiregallery.com/madame_doubtfire.html
