Well I have been good - ish... I have bought some card blanks which I knew I would need, and some sticky pads that I may have already confessed to - but I have now made 5 cards today - 4 of which have been written... But I did forget to photograph one and i'm too tight to take it back out of the envelope and wast it....

I'm not really a card maker, so they are rather ammeter looking... but it is using up the stash.
I am actually quite pleased as I have a few scraps which will be making more cards later in the week as I know there are a few other birthdays coming up soon... My partner really loved his for our anniversary on Thursday, so they can't be too bad - but the one I made him was more hand made than these ones...
I'm loving all of the projects that people have finished, can't wait to crack on woth some of the !!!!!! ones...
I have decided to have a stall at the show in May, which will hopefully get rid of lots of the stuff I have lying around... I will sell stuff for silly money of I have to, if it means getting rid...

Great cards nimbo, you're doing well at using up your bits. I've got those cards too, but I'm using mine to make wedding thank you cards.
Today I have finished the bunting: I did 'finish' it on Friday, but I had sewn the flags onto some fabric that wasn't 100% cotton, and it bunched up and the machine kept skipping stitches between the flags where it was just the other fabric. So..... I sat and unpicked it all yesterday and re-sewed it today. Looks a lot better. I've decided not to put the baby's name on it, as then they can use it either in the nursery or in their conservatory.
Also started the taggy blanket, which I will finish tomorrow or Tuesday.
I've pulled out of one of my dolls house swaps, which was to make 8 items for a sort of advent countdown to Easter. I don't think I am of a standard yet where I can make 8 things first time and they'd be OK to send to anyone - I need a few practices first and just won't have the time So that's one less project to fit in.
Will update my list on Tuesday when I've finished the taggy blanket and maybe something else.

Nothing done today: was a nice day so we went to the seaside to blow the cobwebs out...
Decided that we would like to move and have given ourselves until next Feb 1st to get the house decorated, decluttered and the garden sorted. Gives me even more incentive to use up the stash, but I suspect I'll be decluttering it not by using it up, but by giving it away. So.... I've got 363 days......Keep Calm and Carry On Kondoing

Morning all
Finished the minion hat on Sunday evening and it was very well received yesterday morning at school.
I have started the sheep hat - I think I just have a Panda hat, rabbit hat and another 2 scarves to make. I think I will need to get a ball of black wool for the panda eyes and ears because I used it up knitting the stripe on the minion!
Happy stashbusting everyone xStash Busting Challenge waiting for inspiration:D :j0 -
Loving the minion hat cp!
I've done 3 more mugs this morning - one hunger games, one hobbit and one lotr. Updated my sig - only two more to do!0 -
HI all,
Brilliant items being made - especially loving the minion hat - we are all a bit minion crazy in our house
Well hubby and I have got stinking colds and are feeling pants so there's been no more decluttering, sorting and skip slinging since my last post.
emslovesmickey - I can't believe how quickly you have made 50 things - and they are all amazing - well doneWish I only had to more to go to my target
I have managed to make 4 notelets though using paper scraps from my scrap box. Its overflowing and has grown recently from a small A4 box to a large underbed plastic storage box so I desperately need to make some moreI've just prepped another 20 notelets so just need to stick them all together and then that's even more made. I promise I will try and load some pictures on very soon
I've also got to make a birthday card for my hubby (for Thursday 6th Feb), a strawberry birthday card (before 10th Feb for an order at last craft fair), a leaving card for my son's teacher (needed in two weeks) and a sympathy card for my friend who has just lost her dad very suddenly and unexpected. I'm not looking forward to that one but at least it will help clear a bit more stash
Back later to hopefully report more progress.

Not been around much (just to read mainly ) but I have at last gotten the finger out and finished using a couple of throws I had lying about, I managed to get four cushion covers, a dog coat, a scarf for one of my grandbrats and a couple of dog toys out of it. I still have a wee bit left but that might be used as lining for a dog coat. I would show you pictures but can't seem to get them on here from my iPad
I've also made all the pom poms for the rug I'm going to make, I just need to tie them on to the backing now.0 -
Wow well done Kinski
I managed to make 12 more notelets before collecting the kids from school

Wow, you're doing well as well....
Progress here today: I finished a little cross stitch mat for the dolls house. Has taken me since before Christmas, but to be honest I only work on it when I am going somewhere and have to sit for any length of time and chat, e.g. friends' house, weekly coffee group in my library. So today I carried on after lunch with it and got it finished! So another item ticked off the list.
Tonight I have pricked another 6 card bits for the Order of Service cards. That's 10 out of 40 done now, so 1/4 done! It makes my wrist ache if I do it for more than an hour so if I carry on doing a few at a time they will all be done in plenty of time and I won't have to have a mad panic the day before the event, as per usual.
So... total 84 out of 500Keep Calm and Carry On Kondoing
