loopychriss wrote: »Had a productive day so far: I wrote a list of what I wanted to achieve today and ticked off 9 out of 14 items (not all craft based though). I have also worked on the bunting, and hemmed some muslin squares that I cut up into 12 for my grandson's 'love' (like a mini security blanket). I haven't listed those as they weren't part of my stash. I have made 2 thank you cards for my daughter's wedding, and 12 Christmas gift tags.
Not sure if I'll get any more finished today as I'm out tonight, but will post progress later if I do.
Feel like I have actually got somewhere today... another couple of years like this and I will be stash free!!!

You'll never be stash free! Well i hope not anyway, sounds like a nightmare! Maybe stash reduced?
I've been working on a couple of things over the last few days. The photo stitch, which is nearly at the end of page 5 of 6, i've started up the new cross stitch, started decorating 10 mugs for my party bags, and also started making 9 photo frames, also for the bags. Once i finish the mugs and the frames i will have hit my 50!:j0 -
You're right of course.... stash reduced. No, I'll never use it all up. Even if I do, my mum has probably twice as much as me, so I'll inherit all hers one day too....Keep Calm and Carry On Kondoing

Well done everyone on their stash busting efforts!
I made three pompoms with my new pompom maker-how quick and easy!
Completed one mini album and six journal pages.Stashbusting 2019 - 230/3000 -
Have finished page 5 of the photo stitch, done a little of the vintage stitch, and made my first mug for the film bags.

Have had a busy morning - done four more mugs (each a different film) and made all 9 of my film frames (involves a wooden frame that i found, cardboard backing, a star paper lining, and oscars, film strips and admit tickets decorating the sides) so now i only have five things left to make, which are the other mugs.
However, i have had to stop for today, as when i was taking my Big Shot back upstairs i had a little tumble, so have hurt my knee, elbow, and my wrist.0 -
Ouch! Hope you feel better soon.Use your stuff challenge 50/500

Hi all,
Another check in from me just so you all know I am still paying attention
Well the shed decluttering is going well - again none of my stash has gone in the skip as far as I know (although the skip is already full to the brim with all the other bits of junk we have hoarded over the years) I'm finding loads of bits which I had totally forgotten about including lots of card blanks, beautiful patterned papers, stickers & embellishments and a few scrapbook kits. So I am now up to 10 plastic boxes full to have a proper look through and use
And the big shed is only half empty and there is another smaller shed to go - I have a lot of crafting stash.
I think once I reach my 2014 target I may have to start again with an even higher figure to just make a dent in all my goodies
On the plus side I haven't bought any craft items for ages - well ages for me anywayMortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.020 -
Now onto catching up on this thread - you've all been so busy - you are putting me to shame
loopychris - loving the prioritised list (and seeing so many items crossed off) - well done youCan you slow down a bit - your putting me to such shame
As for being stash free eventually - we all know that will probably never happen - and I don't think we would ever want it to happen - although at the rate you are going you definitely have permission to buy goodies very soon
chiefpossession - now I want an owl hat and fox hat - they are sooo amazing - wish I was as talented as you - think I'm going to be a bit ashamed sharing my next creations
Craftyc - Hope your hands are feeling a bit better today. Crafters are great aren't we - we always seem to help each other which is lovelyand I'm glad the bunting is finished and crossed off your list
emslovemickey - loving the mugsYou too have turned into a crafting machine
I am feeling soo proud of everyone. Sorry to hear about the fall - hope you are feeling a bit less sore now and wishing you a very speedy recovery (I also hope the big shot is ok and not scarred by its ordeal:)
chirpycheap - oooh pom poms again - I love them and it has just reminded me that I am very excited as I found a heart pom pom maker in my stash I am sorting throughOnly problem now though is trying to remember which box it is in so I can start using it
I am hoping to try and get a few cards or something made tonight as I have a craft fair tomorrow and hope to sell lots of my items so will need to restock

I managed to save the Big Shot from damage by taking the brunt on my knee and arm! They can heal - a Big Shot can't! :rotfl:
These are the other mugs i have done so far; The Crow, The Green Mile, The Lion King and Dirty Dancing. There is a film quote on the other side of each of them

Oooh Ems hope you aren't aching too much.... at least you saved the Big Shot!
Craftingmad, good luck at the craft fair, and with the remaining shed clearance....
Don't seem to have done much today: I have destashed 4 dolls house magazines into the recycling, cutting out those projects that I might do one day. Also fiddled around with teeny tiny mini clothes pegs trying to make a 'rustic' table... not sure if it's going to work though. Also made a start on my daughter's Order of Service cards. These are going to be A4 card folded in half, with a pricked out design on the top half of the front, and 'Order of Service' on the bottom bit, both stuck on with those foam pad things, and the papers held in with a ribbon tied round them. I have 40 of these to do, and I have done the pricking bit for 4 of them. At least I've made a start and if I do a couple a day/every 2 days I should get them done in plenty of time without panicking at the last minute!
Not going to count any of today's happenings in my list, will wait until they're all finished items.
