Well I had a wonderful birthday earlier in the week but I have to report that my stash collection has just got a whole lot bigger!;)
Well at least I haven't bought anything myself!
I have been enjoying decorating my Filofax diary pages and am finding it great for using my sticker collection.
After sorting out my scrapbooking pile into page kits I have completed 6 pages and used up 12" papers, letter stickers and lots of flowers, buttons and butterflies!
Oh and really pleased with the little hat I've knitted for a colleagues new baby and pleased that I have saved a bit of money buying a gift. Just got to knit the matching bootees.Stashbusting 2019 - 230/3000 -
I have managed to destash my dolls house magazines by 3 today.... not a lot in the grand scale of things, but it all helps.
Also been working on the cross stitch mat for dolls house bedroom, I think another couple of evenings and it will be finished.
Hoping to spend some time tomorrow on projects, but I do need to tidy the house a bit, strip some wallpaper, and there is also a dolls house fair on locally which I might visit....!

I finally finished my small album. You can see a sample of it here . Also finished the scarf for DS2. Just a simple garter stitch long scarf made with a cone of wool I got from a charity shop and I started a few years ago. This thread is really helping me focus on getting things I've been meaning to do, done.Use your stuff challenge 50/500

Hi all
I haven't got much further this week. I have made the pig hat and it turned out well, even if I do say so myself!
The owl hat is nearly finished - just need to add buttons for eyes and ear tuft things. I have also started the fox hat - so maybe it isn't as bad as I think.

Once this list is finished I will have to make another - I can't do it all at once because it would just be overwhelming. I normally buy mugs for my Year 13 tutor group when they leave - maybe they should have cozies as well?? And my friend is pregnant...... and I haven't even looked at my material......Stash Busting Challenge waiting for inspiration:D :j0 -
I've added a total of nine items today - i made polymer star and clapperboard pendants0

LoopyChriss- Boooo- to housework. Stops us getting on with the important job of stash busting!
Scrapmate- The album is lovely-great memento of your holiday!
Chiefpossession- what a cute hat!
Emslovesmickey-well done on nine items. What is a clapperboard pendant?
Today I sorted out five mini scrapbooking albums that have been hanging around for an absolute age. I looked through my gift buying list and have allotted them to several family members. I have sorted out the papers and photographs and think that they will make a great personalised gift.Stashbusting 2019 - 230/3000 -
Hi everyone up to my usual cheating stash busting tricks!
3 kids puppets kits made out of felt stash and sold for epilepsy charity
Fabric used up to make bunting for dd bedroom. Cut the letters out of fabric on cricut and did shadow in contrasting fabric. Worked out really well .
Also finished a few projects lurking in sewing bag.
So going to say 6 more .0 -
dd just reminded me that she destashed a bind it all cover, insert pages and spiral binding to make a mini album for her project on Europe.
She has also managed to use up some pieces of ribbon and gems etc. too to decorate it.
However bind it all only used twice in 5 yrs..... So I totally messed up the binding part so it will be a truly unique project! I am so glad that teacher is a crafter herself and will appreciate her effort.0 -

Basically it's a polymer clay pendant made to look like a clapperboard (the thing they use in films to announce cut). I'm having my family over for a movie night on my birthday so i thought i'd use that as an excuse to make film themed gift bags.0 -
Well.... the best laid plans.... I did go to the dolls house fair. I got there at 10.20 and didn't leave until just after 1!! Then had lunch, felt too tired to do anything and went for a siesta for a couple of hours. Hubby cooked dinner, then we watched TV. So I've done nothing today. I have also boosted my magazine stash by 13, and bought loads of bargains for the dolls house, but these don't take up much space as they are miniatures...
Going to concentrate next week on finishing the mat for the dolls house, the bunting for my friend's daughter and the button covered framed mirror. Plus go through the piles of dolls house magazines that I have and recycle those that I don't want any more.
Housework got neglected, so did the wallpaper stripping, but I've had a lovely day!!!Keep Calm and Carry On Kondoing
