  • Put me on the naughty step!!!

I just went and bought the threads i needed for a chart that i have wanted to do for ages. Seeing as how it's christmas i hope you will forgive me but as penance i will now double my items to 50 - so i have 32 left to do.

    I'm so ashamed :(
  • Hi everyone - I feel very lazy in comparison to you all. I have finished, and given, another reindeer hat to one of my year 10 lads.

    And received orders for:

    an owl hat
    a dinosaur hat
a Santa hat (even when told it would not be until after Christmas!)
a tractor hat (!!!!! They must think I can do anything!)
    a red and blue scarf
gloves (why did I say yes even though I hate dpns?)
    a pig hat
    a sheep hat
    a scarf

I have finally used some sparkly tile things and glitter to make a Christmas wreath. Just need to add some ribbon and bells to make it really OTT. My daughter and I plan to make some bunting from some Christmas material over the next couple of days.

So my target has changed -completed 2 out of 13 things

  • Well, my sister who is a teacher needs some coloured paper and card for a rainbow collage. I have spent the afternoon sifting through my scrap box and have now got a huge bundle of patterned and plain paper to pass on.
I tend to squirrel away every single piece of waste card, no matter how tiny but I never get around to using it, hence the big box of it sitting under my desk.
Glad to pass it on to someone who can use it and counting it as one project.
I also used up a book of scrap booking sentiments/journalling verses. I had used up most of the sentiments on scrap booking pages but sill had some left, I cut them up and stuck them in my journals and actually they look very nice, So that's two projects off the list.

  • Used up one of my sheets of 'rub ons'. It didn't rub on at all though, so had stick the whole sheet to a plain piece of A4 and cut out what i wanted to use. I wondered why the rub on sheet was so cheap lol!

Well I am up to 33/50. Made 3 gift pouches using some patterned card plus some more cards. Don't suppose I will get anything else done for a week or so now but quite pleased with my progress. Happy Christmas to everyone. D x

    Hi All,

Well I haven't got round to any actual craft making yet due to work, Christmas preparations and a mad household with 5 dogs, 3 chickens, a cockatoo and an OH with 'man flu'

I did manage to use up some of my stash though in my pressie wrapping.

1 box that I had sitting around with a lovely bow made a £5 scarf for secret santa look amazing. I also used up the best part of 16 large sheets of very good quality wrapping paper that I got on sale about 7 years ago. When I first went to use it and saw the quality and thickness of the paper I decided it would be too hard to wrap the presents with it so put it in my craft stock where it had stayed

Decided this year to wrap presents in this paper so had a black, white and silver theme. They were a nightmare to wrap even books and boxes as the paper was too thick but they looked fantastic -even if I do say so myself :rotfl:

Also used 3 picnic hampers and a bamboo basket for home made hampers along with lots of shred.

I don't know whether to count the wrapping as 1 project or 4 projects as I used 4 packs of paper. I suppose it was only 1 project and I do still have some small bits left over for card making so 1 it is :D

That makes 6/50 so far. Hopefully once Christmas is done and dusted I will be able to get going again.

    Merry Christmas to all

    Chez x
That money talks I don't deny, I heard it once, it said "Goodbye"
