I like Loopychriss' way of making a list and ticking each completed one off as done. I think I will do this too if you don't mind Loopychriss? it will definitely help me to keep on track as it were.

Currently on number 3 of 4 Lighthouses for the top of the unit. I am ever so pleased with how they are turning out :)

I also found a "recipe" for making paper clay for pennies - same as the Martha Stewart one which costs several limbs!! It doesn't help to keep discovering does it!!

You Lot have inspired me, I've made a couple of Christmas cushion covers from a throw I bought at asda for £5 and I honestly thought the throw would have been chucked in a cupboard after Christmas.
  • How about using an empty square tissue box? You could adhere [cereal box] card to the six sides to strengthen it (and cover over the hole where you've pulled all the tissues from), and then once all the glue's dried you'll be able to decorate it anyway you wish.

    That's an idea-thanks. I have a small tissue box that's nearly empty.

Have spent the evening gluing all my paper scraps into two cheap notebooks and I will use them as journals. Really chuffed as my paper scraps were beginning to take over!

No, of course I don't mind, although it wasn't my idea originally, I copied from someone on here!

I'm not going to post the whole list every time I leave a message, otherwise it might get a bit tedious for people to read, so I'll do it once every couple of days.

Today I also made 6 gift tags and 2 table runners, so that's a little bit more gone from my stash. Not that you'd notice!

Total so far = 30 out of 500

    Now, what to tackle next!

Well last night I made up three cards. I had already done the cross stitch for them but hadn't bothered doing anything else with them so I decided to make them up and that was three done. I then sent one before I took a photo but have taken a photo of the other two so will post them up when I get a chance.

So 3 cards and 3 envelopes used from stash. Not a lot but a start. I have one more card to stitch and make up and then that will be one xmas kit gone.

Ooooh nearly "fell off the wagon" then. Was merrily passing a few minutes whilst waiting for dinner to cook and ended up on a craft website with £35 of goodies in my basket.

Luckily I stopped myself in time and looked at the items I have recently made using my existing, old stash and clicked off quickly. :)

  • OK time for me to 'fess up... I have had a very hectic few weeks with very little time for crafting but I have made a few cards and tags which I will tot up soon. However I have fallen victim to temptation with the numerous carrots/offers that have been around over the past few weeks. Some stamps (4) I've had my eye on since last year were on offer and a Tim Holtz alphabet die which I wanted was also on offer (another small die also happened to fall into my basket too). I am sitting on the naughty step as I write this...
