  • This challenge sounds ideal for me, please could you count me in!

I have a stash of cross stitch magazines and unfinished projects, craft materials and as Ive just started to knit, Ive got a stash of wool as well now!

I don't have a figure in mind but anything that I sell will be a help towards my debt mountain. How about I start with making 20 things?? Does that sounds like a reasonable amount??

I will update my signature later with the debt amounts so that its in black and white for me to see what my aims are!

Hello and welcome beginagain - 20 sounds like a great starting figure xx

It also sounds a great idea to use some of your stash to help clear some debts.

Good luck with your stash busting and we look forward to seeing all the lovely things you make xxx

  • A poem for us stashers

    Twas the night before Christmas,
    I’m glued to the tree.
I’m wondering what Santa brought just for me.
Could it be cardstock or chipboard or lace?
Or a Cricut, I said, with a smile on my face.
And that’s when I heard him, “Hi Santa,” I said
    “You know….good little girls
    should be in their beds.”
    “I know I should Santa,
    and now I’ve got caught.
But I was just so excited
    To see what you brought.”
    “Well, let’s take a look
in this room where you work.
    He shook his head quickly,
    And left with a jerk.
I heard him exclaim as he put it in gear.
    “You’ve got enough crap,
    I’ll see you next year!”

Ohhh Vikki_Louise I'm laughing like mad right now! Did you make it up? 'Borrow' it?

Aw, which ever it was I thank you from the bottom of my heart and I'm stealing it in order to send to my girls. They'll recognise me in that poem! LOL. LOVE it. Thanks for the smiles. x

    .
Remember: however thin you slice something, there are always two sides to everything.
  • I have somehow managed to start another 3 projects....but still have not finished anything......luckily as a lot of it is for Christmas presents, I have good motivation to get them all finished ;)
  • I'll join you all if i may. Love.love.love crafting. I don't have a set limit in mind of how many things i want to make, but i definitely need to use some of what i have, before i buy anything else crafty.

    Love the poem posted above!

hello and please may I join in?

I have soooo much stuff that I have GOT to use up - but i want to use it all wisely and not just make somethng to get rid of materials.

    I make cards for charity
    Love sewing
Love paperccrafting (hubby bought me a Cricut for my birthday this year!!)
    Make candles
    All general crafting in fact

Am currently making papier mache lighthouse/cottages for the top of the wall unit. Have made one complete and finished, 1 is partway done - just the top to finish & paint, third is just begun this afternoon. Want to make 4 in total.

Also have about half a ton of wax which i want to make into candles using a box of glass jars, but i want to colour the jars first....

So many ideas and want so do's but not enough hours in the day to do them all :(

    so, thats me!
