I've not done much from my list this week, but have decided on a design for the table name place settings for the wedding, so I can start on those now. I also found out some small balls of wool I got free with a magazine when I went up to Manchester last month, and have knitted 2 squares towards a blanket! Not made any dent in the stash, but a couple more things that are 'finished' (until they get sewn up into a blanket but I won't be doing that).
Need to concentrate now on the wedding stuff, so hopefully by this time next week I can boost my target by at least 50!

Morsbag no 7
I really need to start using thinner material for them, my poor machine was struggling to get through the layers :rotfl:. I've got loads of surplus single duvet covers so I think I'll start using them, we're hoping to move to a smaller house this/next year and I really need to get rid of some stuff and what better way could there be. I'm really loving making them but I know that I'll eventually get fed up doing them and I'll be looking around for something else to make.0 -
yes it's the blue dress for Elsa, in Film Frozen.
There are a lot of demand for them apparantly.
Too tired to sew today. I am back at the recycle centre tomorrow sewing, and I have a lesson at 7.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

There was something on daybreak on Friday about these dresses, according to them they're going for hundreds of pounds on ebay.
My daughter has been looking at my material and handing me stuff that she thinks would make good bags .0 -

I have been watching this thread from the sidelines because yes, I'll admit it, my house is stuffed full of "it'll come in useful one day" things. Then I saw what you wrote and I had to smile... your daughter is choosing bags for herself! maybe in that case is she old enough to start making them?? (Almost never too young!)
I am really pleased with myself because I have made a semi-fitted chair cover from a plain quilted bedspread that I was given a while ago. Saving it for something!... and inspiration dawned on Friday. Looks good in the newly painted room.Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

She's 29 and hasn't got a crafty bone in her body :rotfl:, I've tried over the years to get her to do something but nope she won't, her 4 year old daughter on the other hand would love to learn how to knit and I've promised to teach her when she's a bit older. She already has a couple of the bags, she's looking at the material so I can make the bags for others.0 -
I will have to look online to see what a frozen dress looks like.
