Thank you loopychriss. My daughter used to work in the office of a furniture shop and that material was a curtain sample that was being thrown out I got loads of them but most were thrown out as I couldn't think what to do with them, ive got a fair bit of suedette fabric so I might try making bags from that. When she worked in the shop I managed to get loads of leather that were samples of furniture leather, I made quite a few dog beds for dog charities out of that, from what I've heard they're still going strong :T. Unfortunately she now works in the office of a carpet shop so no more freebies, just a good discount on carpets :rotfl:.0

Loving all the new makes - I want some tartan bunting now
I'm gonna have to dig about in my stash and see what I can find
Well my company left late last night and the kids will be back at school tomorrow so hoping to get a bit more crafting done soon (although I'm going to miss them tomorrow as the house will seem so quiet
I have managed to complete another 8 pages of Project Life so can count these towards my total.
Yesterday was the start of week 17 and I have just finished week 14 so still got a couple of weeks to catch up upon but hope to get these done over the next couple of days.

I gave the bag to my friend and she was over the moon with it, her mum does a lot of knitting for charity so it's nice that the bags gone to someone that also gives things away. I had to go and buy some bobbins for the sewing machine, I could only find a couple if mine and I was starting to chuck out the thread that was on them every time I changed material, I'm lucky though that I've got loads of different coloured thread courtesy if the same daughter and the furniture shop she used to work in :T0

Kinski - love your patriotic bunting!
I have, at last, started on my bags for "Beads of Courage".
I made 4 of the red bags (2 with white lining, 2 with plain red) and 3 of the teddy bags (all with light blue lining). I will have to buy cord for the drawstrings.

Made another laundry bag - started the last one this evening although it isn't needed until my daughter gets back from Uni (she's in America studying this year).
We have had some cupboards put into our kitchen extension loft to house my craft stuff and there wasn't enough room for it all
I have been asked to make curtains and cushions by a couple of people and then I need to make some serious inroads.Stash Busting Challenge waiting for inspiration:D :j0 -

Oooooh, I'm well jealous! That's a lovely craft room.... I used to have the little box room until we decided to put the house on the market a couple of years ago, then it had to look like a bedroom again. Didn't move and it still looks like a bedroom.... I miss it!!!
Loving everyone's makes, we're a talented lot on this thread aren't we?!!!

I know that I am very lucky. It has made me face my hoarding habit though - especially since the top part looks like a wool shop. I used to have it all in a bookcase downstairs and I would catch myself just going into the room to look at it. I love a beautiful yarn and often can't bring myself to use it and spoil it. Wrexham has a really good yarn stall on the market and they often tell me I can bring back any I don't use - yeah right!!
Right - off to measure up my sister-in-law's kitchen for curtains and then make her some cushions.Stash Busting Challenge waiting for inspiration:D :j0
