Made some more upcycling Christmas cards for Mr F.
Fab cards as always, think I might start actually making a few Christmas cards every week - instead of waiting until end of November
My mum lives in Sheltered accomodation and they have 2 fayres every year, they have a craft stall so I like to do a few bits for them and they also sell all their knitted goodies that they make at "knit and chat" on Mondays. All the funds enable them to have some really great days out, a FAB Christmas meal and parties (galore) as well as entertainers. My son (age 10) loves it down there and spends lots of time with them at their parties and their social evenings (every Wed & Sat) - he's been going there since he was about 9 months old so it feels like a 2nd home to him and the best bit - its a 5 min walk from my house:T (oops sorry for waffling on)

Your button art is lovely Ziggy, I'm sure the little girls will love it.
I've knitted 4 more squares for the blanket today, and half way through a fifth. Also got up early today to finish the present for my friend's birthday. I only started it yesterday afternoon! (I'm not known as the Queen of Last Minute for nothing!!!).
I made a piece of 'altered art' (or that's what I think it's called). It is a little wooden house shape with deep shelves, and I gave it a coat of pink paint, then cut out some scrapbook paper to fit the back of the shelves. Then I dug out some random items and stuck them on the shelves. Looks vaguely like a piece of shabby chic art (I hope!).
In making this I have used up: 1) wooden house shape; 2) tester pot of paint; 3) sheet of scrapbook paper and 4) lots of random bits and pieces but I won't count those.
So..... another 7 items to add to the total today.
Total now 218 out of 500Keep Calm and Carry On Kondoing

Well done everyone.
ziggy I love your button rainbow.
I found the missing cord, but not the embroidery panel yetBeginning to think it's been thrown out when I gathered up scraps for bin  Hope not and that It'll turn up when I least expect it! It was for DIL's birthday today, so just as well I had a few other wee things for her. That'll teach me to be tidier in future! But I am SURE I put it away safely; the question is,"Where is that safe place?"

I've just discovered how to add pictures, so here's the present I made for my friend's 30th birthday. Sorry it's so big, haven't quite mastered how to size them yet! Now I can show you all the things I've made recently - will do that tomorrow once I've found them all!!Keep Calm and Carry On Kondoing

I think it's probably in the same safe place as my stuff is!! We've been decorating and hubby took the radiators off the wall and put the screws in a 'safe place'...... as yet we haven't found them and had to buy new ones yesterday! We've now designated a drawer in the dresser as the 'safe place' where everything will be put from now on!!Keep Calm and Carry On Kondoing
