Keep up the great work everyone, Im hoping to finish a few wip's off over the next week, so hopefully it wont be too long before I can cross off a few more to my target and feel as if Im doing something as opposed to just making more wip's (hope that makes sense)
Love the jars! I read it as Dad's tash (dad's tache) lol!GE 36 *MFD may 2043

I was a bit older when I learnt to knit, my gran taught me plain and purl the rest I learnt as I went along, I'm rubbish at crochet unfortunately I have tried but it never quite worked for me
. I think I might just have a go at teaching her how to knit :T.
I'm lucky with the duvet covers I have as most of them have hardly been used at all, lots of bedrooms and no one to sleep in them, I'll dig a few out and only use them if they're in very very good condition, most of my curtains are thick so might not be of any use for the bags. I love the idea of the shower curtain, years ago I bought waterproof material to make dog coats with but I ordered the wrong stuff and it's to thin for the coats, it might just make a few bags though if I can find it that is
Bag no 8 :rotfl: which I quite fancy keeping.
I love the cards, they're absolutely beautiful. I'd love to see the frozen dress when it's done, I'd like to be able to do more on the sewing machine maybe if and when we move I'll get a better machine and some lessons. I wee remember my mum going out on a Saturday morning to buy material, she would make a dress in the afternoon and wear it out that night, I was always amazed that she could do that.
Your bag is great kinski!GE 36 *MFD may 2043

The Tilda images I've had for ages - I thought initially it was about two years, (but I've now worked out that it's more like three), which I bought in a Hobbycraft sale for a pound, but I'd never done anything at all with them. So, since I have a rubbish right hand at the moment (Tendonitis in wrist, thumb and it's affecting my fingers too - boy oh boy it's bloomin' painful!) - I thought that if I made something using those then perhaps I wouldn't loose too much sleep if it didn't turn out quite right. (Although I have to admit that when I started to use the Tilda things I realised that the reason I hadn't used them was because I didn't want to 'not have them' anymore. I hope other crafters know what I mean there! lol)
The green flower shaped cards were also something I've had for about (really embarrassed about this) four years and never used. Likewise the blue gingham paper.
Apologies for the blurry part at the bottom of the photo. I forgot to save the picture before I'd put the watermark on it so that I could put it on my blog. So I've blurred the blog name out so as not to 'promote' it.

I made two male Birthday cards using decoupage sheets from my stash.

Loving all today's makes, we have been busy. I have made 2 more knitted squares and made a start on another project which is for a friend's 30th birthday present. It was her birthday last Friday but we're not going out until later this week so I've got a couple more days to finish it. My life is so busy at the moment I don't know what to do first!!! Anyone else like that - and how do you choose??!!

Hi everyone - wow! lots of beautiful makes on here since I last checked in. Loving the cards Florenceem. I like looking at all the mores bags - starting to wish I had a machine so I could run some up, but then I would have to go out and buy lots of material. We have some really nice material out there at the moment, I often find myself looking at it in the local shop and wondering what I might make with it if I had some. (I know we are supposed to be stash busting not buying more!!) Confession time I might have accidentally bought some wool, but to be fair my hubby wants a jumper knitting & I don't think he would wear one that is made up of all my remnant balls (lots of pinks & lemons!!!)
I have made another hat and 2 more cards so adjusted my total :-)

Kinski - I love the bags that you're making . WTG you clever thing. I try to re-cycle; up-cycle; or re-use fabrics as much as I can, and I have a little cafe kitchen curtain on the lower third of my kitchen window which I made from an red gingham tablecloth - but I've still got some of the fabric left, so I might just make a bag like yours with the remaining fabric.
Florenceem - thank you SOoo much for you kind comments about my cards. I've only had the blog about a month (ish) and am trying to make it a place that other crafters might like. It's great that I've got a handful of followers already and I adore visiting their blogs too. I never realised that blogging could be so much fun.
I really like your cards with the cars on them. I always struggle with cards for men and I think I've only ever made one which I was totally happy with. But .. I will admit that my favourite of your cards, (on this page) is .. [drum roll] ... the little Angel card. What a little darling!
Tattycath and Ziggy - thank you both for your kind words. Really like the 'tache jars Ziggy! x
AND .... I'm extremely curious about this 'Frozen Dress' now so I'm going to have to ask Google to come up with the pictures so that I know what you're talking about! ~ TC xRemember: however thin you slice something, there are always two sides to everything.0 -

Don't do it :rotfl:, they're very addictive and it's all loopychriss's fault :rotfl:
No 9 and this one is made from the waterproof material, it's also bright red and not the pink it's showing up as.
The good thing is that I'm getting rid of quite a bit of the smaller pieces of material I have lying around :T:T0 -
Kinski - loving the bags.
ziggy2407 - great idea - those moustache jars. I have never done a fair.
loopychriss - same as you - what to do first!
