stash busting - I will use my mountains b4 buying more!

Hello,
Sorry not posted for a few days but I have been reading the thread and enjoying looking at all your wonderful makes - promise!
I'd lost my crafting mojo for a while but I'm pleased to report it's back again and I've 50 items today ready to send to the owl sanctuary. I made 20 bookmarks and 30 badges for them today and I had already made 10 bookmarks so hopefully they will be able to raise some much needed cash with them. I also hope to make a few owl themed cards for them to sell as well before I post of the packet.
So my total now stands at over 600 - still a long way off from my target but I'm pleased with myself none the less.
I have also tried to tidy up my craft room a bit today and I managed to find space for most of the bits just lying around so I think I am slowly starting to see the benefits of this stash busting lark. My bank balance is certainly benefiting from it
Hope you are all enjoying this challenge as much as I am
Keep crafting

ziggy, I love your button rainbow.
your friend is a lucky lad to receive such a lovely gift, loopychris.
Mooloo, you've been busy. I'd just been learning about a thermal crockpot mentioned on the SW support thread, so this was uncanny timing!
craftingmad, well done on finding your mojo - can you find my 'safe place' too, please?
I'm loving this challenge. I'm claiming my first target reached (50/50) because I have finished 25 bags for Beads of Courage. About 6 still to get the drawstrings, but that will only take a few mins once I buy the cord. I will order more labels tonight and clear some more stash.
I've set my next 50 target so they'll maybe go towards that. No other birthdays/occasions planned for May so I feel Christmas cards are calling, for a wee change (that should boost my output). I also heard about Heidi's Heart Pillow Project (heart shaped pillows to help ease pain after breast surgery), so I will probably make some of these sometime.Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -
Thank you everyone for the nice comments about my altered house art. I saw my friend today, and she loved it, told me I should sell them!!! I really enjoyed making it, so might pick up a couple more when I see them again.
Nothing achieved today as I have spent most of the day cutting down a 25ft fir tree in the front garden (with hubby's help). He did the cutting with the chainsaw, but I had about 12 large trunks with all the foliage lying on the front lawn that I had to cut up for transporting to the tip. I spent 7 hours altogether (!!!) with a half hour break for lunch: consequently I am aching all over and know that tomorrow I won't be doing much at all, so might take the opportunity to do some gentle stash busting - knitting some squares or working on the wedding name place cards. Or I might just stay in bed....!Keep Calm and Carry On Kondoing

loopychriss - I love your little house. I wish I knew how to put photos on here directly instead of having to put a link to flickr.
greentiger - I think someone should make those heart shaped cushions to sell because I have looked everywhere on line to buy one for my best friend and they all seem to be for sale in America & Canada with no option to have posted over to UK. (Gap in the market maybe?)
ziggy2407 - a good idea to start making a few Christmas cards each week. I might find time to make 2 a week in between the vat return & tax return etc :-(

I had planned to get on to card making for a change, but I didn't expect I'd have to make a sympathy card. I made 3 of similar design. It seems a bit !!!!!ish, but it's the kind of card that's needed at short notice, unfortunately.

love2shop2, the idea behind the Heid's Heart Pillow Project is that they are given away in hospitals. I had a mastectomy and lymph nodes removed 4 years ago and I would have loved one of these.
dibuzz, you've been busy while you've been away from here. What lovely woolcraft!
florenceem, more lovely cards, as usual.
dakota86, I love your Gruffalo stitching. You must have a heap of patience to work thatSewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -
